Was Fai's twin in the animé series?

Do toi remember one of the last episodes in the animé series? Syaoran, Kurogane, and Fai were all under this weird illusion where they say things they were afraid of ou something like that. I was expecting that Fai would see Ashura but instead he saw himself. Was that his twin ou himself? I need to go back and watch that episode, but I think it was foreshadowing his twin. Let me know what toi think.
