Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin fall in l’amour in extended Me Before toi trailer 

A new trailer arrived Monday morning for the film adaptation of

“It was a thrill for us to bring Jojo Moyes’s beautifully heartbreaking love story to the big screen,” Clarke says in their introduction.

Claflin added that they had a “brilliant” time bringing characters Will and Louisa (a.k.a. Lou) to life, and that both hope audiences enjoy the film as much as they did making it.

The new trailer begins with a glimpse of a suited, businessman Will (Claflin) stepping into a rainy London street before an accident that leaves him in a wheelchair. He meets Louisa (Clarke) after she takes a job as his caretaker, and while the two initially get off to a rocky start (“My mother says you’re chatty. Can we strike a deal whereby you are very unchatty around me?”), they begin to fall for one another.

“I don’t want you to miss out on the things that someone else can give you,” Will tells her, but also admits she’s “pretty much the only thing that makes me want to get up in the morning.”

, also starring Jenna Coleman, Matthew Lewis, Brendan Coyle, Charles Dance, Janet McTeer, and Joanna Lumley, opens in theaters June 3.
