The warden threw a party in the county jail
The prison band was there and they began to wail
The band was jumpin' and the joint began to swing
You should've heard those knocked out jailbirds sing

Let's rock, everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock

Spider Murphy played the tenor saxophone
Little Joe was blowin' on the slide trombone
The le batteur, batteur boy from Illinois went crash, boom, bang
The whole rhythm section was the Purple Gang

Let's rock, everybody, let's rock
Everybody in the whole cell block
Was dancin' to the Jailhouse Rock

When no one else can understand me
When everything I do is wrong
toi give me hope and consolation
toi give me strength to carry on
And you´re always there to lend a hand
In everthing I do
That's the wonder, the wonder of you

And when toi smile the world is brighter
toi touch my hand and I am a king
Your Kiss to me is worth a fortune
Your l’amour for me is everything
I guess, I'll never know the reason why
toi l’amour me as toi do
that's the wonder, the wonder of you

I guess I'll never know the reason why
toi l’amour me as toi do
That's the wonder, The Wonder of you
Just last night I finished lire "Elvis: A Lonely Life" par rayon, ray Connolly. I have been a fan of Elvis since I was a little girl, and I am now in my early fifties. I feel compelled to say that I have never felt that I have known Elvis better, but also, though I have almost always considered him as a tragic figure, never plus so than now. From his meteoric rise, to his tragic end, there was no way anyone could have known all the things that would occur, and how much he would suffer from both the highs and lows in his life. Mr. Connolly once even spoke to Elvis on the phone, and I wish I knew...

Bright light city gonna set my soul
Gonna set my soul on fire
Got a whole lot of money that's ready to burn,
So get those stakes up higher
There's a thousand pretty women waitin' out there
And they're all livin' devil may care
And I'm just the devil with l’amour to spare
Viva Las Vegas, Viva Las Vegas

How I wish that there were more
Than the twenty-four hours in the day
'Cause even if there were forty more
I wouldn't sleep a minute away
Oh, there's black jack and poker and the roulette wheel
A fortune won and Lost on ev'ry deal
All toi need's a strong cœur, coeur and a nerve of steel

I give,
Give toi my heart,
Today, tomorrow and forever,
You'll always be my love,
I vow we'll never part,
Today, tomorrow and forever,
Long as there's stars above
The cares of life will fade away,
As long as we're together.
So stay,
Stay in my arms
Today, tomorrow and forever,
You'll always be my love
I give,
Give toi my heart,
Today, tomorrow and forever,
You'll always be my love
The cares of life will fade away,
As long as we're together.
So stay,
Stay in my arms

You'll always be my love,

Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't l’amour you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have a dit and done
I just never took the time

toi were always on my mind
toi were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine
If I made toi feel seconde best
Girl, I'm sorry I was blind

toi were always on my mind
toi were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet l’amour hasn't died
Give me, give me one plus chance
To keep toi satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have a dit and done

Don't be cruel to a cœur, coeur that's true

Baby, if I made toi mad
For something I might have said
Please, let's forget the past
The future looks bright ahead

Don't be cruel to a cœur, coeur that's true

I don't want no other love
Baby it's just toi I'm thinking of

Don't stop thinking of me
Don't make me feel this way
Come on over here and l’amour me
toi know what I want toi to say

Don't be cruel to a cœur, coeur that's true

Why should we be apart?
I really l’amour toi baby, traverser, croix my heart

Let's walk up to the preacher
And let us say I do
Then you'll know you'll have me
And I'll know that I'll have you

Don't be cruel to a cœur, coeur that's true

I don't want no other love

Well, I quit my job down at the car wash,
Left my mama a goodbye note,
By sundown I'd left Kingston,
With my guitare under my coat,
I hitchhiked all the way down to Memphis,
Got a room at the YMCA,
For the suivant three weeks I went huntin' them nights,
Just lookin' for a place to play,
Well, I thought my pickin' would set 'em on fire,
But nobody wanted to hire a guitare man

Well, I nearly 'bout starved to death down in Memphis,
I run outta money and luck,
So I bought me a ride down to Macon, Georgia,
On a overloaded poultry truck,
I thumbed on down to Panama City,
Started pickin' out some o' them all night bars,...

There must be lights burning brighter somewhere
Got to be birds flying higher in a sky plus blue
If I can dream of a better land
Where all my brothers walk hand in hand
Tell me why, oh why, oh why can't my dream come true
Oh why...

There must be peace and understanding someti-me
Strong winds of promise that will blow away
The doubt and fear
If I can dream of a warmer sun
Where hope keeps shining on everyone
Tell me why, oh why, oh why won't that sun appear

We're Lost in a cloud
With too much rain
We're trapped in a world
That's troubled with pain
But a long as a man
Has the strength to dream
He can redeem his soul and fly

Deep in my cœur, coeur there's a trembling question
Still I am sure that the answer, answer gonna come somehow
Out there in the dark, there's a beckoning candle...oh yeah
And while I can think, while I can talk
While I can stand, while I can walk
While I can dream, please let my dream
Come true, right now
Let it come true right now
Oh yeah

Return to sender

I gave a letter to the postman,
He put it in his sack
Bright and early suivant morning,
He brought my letter back

She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown
No such number, no such zone
We had a quarrel, a lover's spat
I write I'm sorry but my letter keeps coming back

So then I dropped it in the mailbox
And sent it special D
Bright and early suivant morning
It came right back to me

She wrote upon it:
Return to sender, address unknown
No such person, no such zone

This time I'm gonna take it myself
And put it right in her hand
And if it comes back the very suivant day
Then I'll understand

The écriture on it

No such number, no such zone

These long lonely evenings
Here I am on the phone
Wondering when she will call
She a dit she would write me
'Cause she knows I'm alone
But I hear nothing at all

I'm waiting for a word of l’amour from Sylvia.
You think she'd never heard of l’amour my Sylvia,
But when I'm with her, Lord, I forgive her
'Cause she's plus than the whole world to me
There's nothing like a word of l’amour from Sylvia
The only one I'm thinking of is Sylvia
Feeling so sad now, I'll be so glad now
If I just had my Sylvia with me

That old weepin' willow
Seems to whisper her name
Why did she go away
The tears on my pillow
They're not hard to explain...

Hold me close, hold me tight
Make me thrill with delight
Let me know where I stand
From the start
I want you, I need you, I l’amour you
With all my heart

Every time that you're near
All my cares disappear
Darling, you're all that
I'm living for
I want you, I need you, I l’amour you
plus and more

I thought I could live
Without romance
Until toi came
To me
But now I know
That I will go on
Loving toi eternally

Won't toi please, be my one
Never leave me alone
'Cause I die every time
We're apart
I want you, I need you, I l’amour you
With all my heart

I thought I could live

Even though he's no longer on this earth, i still listen to and enjoy his music! He was the greatest muscian of his time(i know there were others too though, just a figure of speech i guess). For some reason i rather listen to his musique than musique from the present day,Some of my favori elvis songs are:Always on my mind, suspicious minds, american trilogy, devil in disguise, can't help falling in love,Its now ou never.

I cant wait till i can one jour go back to graceland.i will never forget the first time i went.
It was amazing , going par the grave site and the meditation garden gave me a weird feeling.(lets just say i got the chills)i hear they have added moreto Graceland.

If toi find your sweetheart
in the arms of a friend
That's when your heartaches begin
When dreams of a lifetime
must come to an end
That's when your heartaches begin

l’amour is a thing
toi never can share
If toi bring a friend
into your l’amour affair
That's the end of your sweetheart,
that's the end of your friend
That's when your heartaches begin

Have I told toi lately that I l’amour you?
Could I tell toi once again somehow?
Have I told with all my cœur, coeur and soul how I adore you?
Well darling I'm telling toi now

Have I told toi lately when I'm sleeping
Every dream I dream is toi somehow?
Have I told toi why the nights are long
When you're not with me?
Well darling I'm telling toi now

My cœur, coeur would break in two if I should lose you
I'm no good without toi anyhow
And have I told toi lately that I l’amour you
Well darling I'm telling toi now

My cœur, coeur would break in two if I should lose you
I'm no good without toi anyhow
And have I told toi lately that I l’amour you
Well darling I'm telling toi now

Can't toi see
I l’amour you
Please don't break my cœur, coeur in two
That's not hard to do
'Cause I don't have a wooden heart
And if toi say goodbye
Then I know that I would cry
Maybe I would die
'Cause I don't have a wooden heart
There's no strings upon this l’amour of mine
It was always toi from the start
Treat me nice
Treat me good
Treat me like toi really should
'Cause I'm not made of wood
And I don't have a wooden heart

Muss i denn, muss i denn
Zum Stadtele hinaus
Stadtele hinaus
Und du, mein Schatz, bleibst hier?

There's no strings upon this l’amour of mine
It was always toi from the start
Sei mir gut
Sei mir gut
Sei mir wie du wirklich sollst
Wie du wirklich sollst
'Cause I don't have a wooden heart

toi can shake an pomme off an pomme tree
Shake-a, shake- sugar,
But you'll never shake me
Uh-uh-uh
No-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue,
Stick because I'm
Stuck on you

Gonna run my fingers thru your long black hair
Squeeze toi tighter than a grizzly bear
Uh-uh-uh,
Yes-sir-ee, uh, uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you

Hide in the kitchen, hide in the hall
Ain't gonna do toi no good at all
'Cause once I catch ya and the kissin' starts
A team o' wild chevaux couldn't tear us apart

Try to take a tiger from his daddy's side
That's how l’amour is gonna keep us tied
Uh-uh-uh
Yes-sir-ee, uh,uh
I'm gonna stick like glue
Stick, because I'm
Stuck on you
