Elvis Presley, is and forever will be the King of Rock and Roll. Yes, he sang country, gospel, and old rock is now considered Pop, so yeah he sang Pop as well! He is the King of Music, I totally agree, and so does my Mom, Dad, Brother’s and my Sister!

I would agree with Elvis as the King of Rock and Roll. That was his main focus and he definately was a founding father of rock and roll. He was a great country and gospel singer. That's where his roots lie. But he did not as great of an impact in those fields as he did in Rock and Roll. I think it's a sûr, sans danger bet that he was the greatest entertainer of all time. When toi figure in his 30 plus films and all the years he sang in Vegas, he has still managed to sell plus than a billion records. The king may be dead, but long live the king!

elvis is the king of rock but in some ways he can be great at all musique so yes i would class him as the king.
