Chapter 4: Nature

As I had expected, Bella demanded a meeting with my family shortly after our incident with the dog in the parking lot. Luckily, I had seen this coming (confirmed par Alice, of course), and had gotten to my family first. I had convinced them all that Bella’s change could not happen while she was in a state of panic. Giving up your mortality was not a decision to take lightly, and doing it because toi are afraid is not the right decision. They agreed with me wholeheartedly, and I was grateful.

The meeting itself had gone quickly, each of my family members telling Bella why she...

Everything was ready. Bella had her alibi in the form of a two jour sleep over with 'Alice', that was easy enough. Her mind was slightly plus at peace knowing that Charlie was fishing with Billy and that Angela, Ben, Mike and Jessica had gone to the concert. She also seemed almost comforted par the fact that in forty-eight hours, one way ou another, this would all be over, as was I, somewhat at least. Now all we had to think about was tonight, I told myself.

Bella and I, completely alone. Although I had spent the night with Bella many times before, all while Charlie was suitably unconscious,...

Chapter 7: Temper

I was furious as I dialed Alice’s number. How could she let this happen again? I gave her a Porsche for God’s sake, and all she had to do was keep Bella in the house. My brothers and Carlisle were unmoving behind me, having heard the message and knowing how angry I would be. Jasper was desperately trying to send calming waves my way, but I was too far gone for them to even begin to help. I punched the numbers furiously, and Alice’s voice came over the speaker before it had a chance to ring.

“Edward, I—“

“HOW COULD toi LET THIS HAPPEN?!” I roared, not caring enough...

These are my fave citations from the Eclipse book and movie.I hope toi enjoy them.

The word boyfriend had me chewing on the inside of my cheek with a familiar tension while I stirred. It wasn’t the right word, not at all. I needed something plus expressive of eternal commitment… But words like destiny and fate sounded hokey when toi used them in casual conversation.

It worked — your cooking skills have me soft as a marshmallow.

Chapter 10: Legends

After speeding away from the La Push boundary line, I drove aimlessly for a few minutes, not knowing where to go. I didn’t feel like going home, as I would end up staring at the clock impatiently, and would certainly end up making everybody else anxious, particularly Jasper. I thought about waiting at Bella’s house, but quickly decided against it. I was already crazy with worry, and being surrounded par her scent wouldn’t make things easier on me. Besides, Esme was watching the cygne house tonight, looking after Charlie, and I knew how worried her thoughts would be if...

Bella opened the door, with a smile on her face. She stared at me, full of wonder, as if I was the prize and she was the winner. In my point of view, it was the other way around. I couldn't ask anyone else for someone so perfect. She reached for my hand, and I didn't refuse.
"Hey." she a dit with a smile.
I brushed her cheek with our interlaced fingers.
"How was your afternoon?"
"Slow."
"For me as well."
The outside world had nothing that I was interested in, unless I was with my Bella.
I pulled her wrist up to my face, gently without hurting her. My eyes closed at her warm skin, and smiled without...

Alright guys, here's the start of the story, Evening Star! ^_^

Days. Weeks. Time has passed par since our return back to Forks. But now I felt whole again. It's been too long since I have been apart from my love, Bella. I can't ever think about leaving her again.

Since my return, Bella's father, Charlie, have been giving me a hard time with being with Bella. I know have visiting hours, from seven till nine thirty PM, inside the house. I didn't object, beacuse I knew I deserved worse than this, for putting Bella in agony, since for less than a half an heure to go.

I drove to the rue where...

Chapter 12: Newborn

“The same thing that happened to your hand,” Jasper explained. “Repeated a thousand times.” He laughed bitterly. “Our venom is the only thing that leaves a scar.”

“Why?” Bella asked, horrified.

“I didn’t have quite the same…upbringing as my adopted siblings here. My beginning was something else entirely.” Bella stared at him, but didn’t say continue right away.

Images flashed through Jasper’s mind as he determined where to begin his tale. Being able to read minds, listening to Jasper’s story was slightly different for me than it was for the others....

Did Bella think I insulted her? She looked angry. I was getting a little worried after a few minutes when she didn't speak. Then I put one finger under Bella's chin so she would pay attention to what I was saying and I want her to know that I didn't mean what I said.
"Sorry. Really." I told her sencerely.
She looked at me, with a frustrated expression, which confused me. But then she spoke.
"I know. I know it's not the same thing. I shouldn't have reacted that way. It's just well, I was already thinking about Jacob before toi over." she said.
I could tell that my expression hardened when she said...

When I arrived at Charlie’s, Bella was asking permission to go to La Push. Charlie’s thoughts were ecstatic that she was finally going to be talk to Jake. He didn’t care that it was the middle of the night. Quicker than a human eye could detect, I opened the capuche, hotte of Bella’s truck, and quickly incapacitated it. I hopped in the passenger’s siège and waited in the dark. It was cloudy tonight. Too cloudy for even the moon to shine through. I was rather annoyed that Bella would go behind my back to see Jacob, but I did warn her that I would stop her if she tried. Apparently she hadn’t...

Chapter 15: Epoch[/b]

Graduation jour arrived at last. I couldn’t remember the last time I had been even remotely interested in a graduation ceremony, and yet today I was excited. Despite her reservations, Bella had done well on her exams, and I knew she was proud of herself, as I was of her. And although I knew she wasn’t looking vers l'avant, vers l’avant to it, the graduation party was going to be a good experience for her, and I was going to make sure she ended up having a good time. I had wanted to get her a gift for graduation, but she had insisted that I not spend any money on her, and finally I gave...

Alice managed to wait until the end of the school jour before mentioning her “brilliant” idea to Bella. We were walking to the car when she suddenly stopped and closed her eyes.

“I have foreseen…” she began, sounding like a psychic you’d reach on a 900 line. I attempted to elbow her in the ribs to get her to cut it out, but she saw it coming and dodged it. “Fine. Edward is making me do this. But I did foresee that toi would be plus difficult if I surprised you.”

Bella was staring at her blankly. “In English?”

“Don’t be a baby about this. No tantrums.”

Bella’s eyes widened....

I can see a look across her face, seeing that she wanted to argue with me. I was ready to defend my arguements, but Bella's didn't speak. But I will only change her under one condition... if she marry me. It makes me feel humored looking at her thinking and thinking about it. I was getting the impression that Bella wanted immortality plus than me. This thought saddened me. But I held back the thought, hoping that she loved me as much as I did. Did she l’amour me less because I left her?

Bella's face turned plus distressed. So I spoke my reasons.
"Bella, there's no hurry. I won't let anyone hurt...

Chapter 14: Wager

I entered the house to find Emmett and Jasper absorbed in a video game, with Alice perched on the canapé flipping through a magazine.

“You’re accueil early,” Jasper observed, never taking his eyes off the télévision screen.

“I couldn’t possibly hunt anymore,” I explained. “Plus, I was hoping to be there when Bella arrived home, since she forgot her phone.”

“She isn’t accueil yet,” Alice said. “Or at least, I can’t see her yet. She could be accueil and the dog is still there, I guess.”

“ Either way, I think I’m going to wait for her over there.”

Good luck....

When I woke up I went to the window and looked outside. It was couvert, ciel couvert and windy. In other words it was a perfect day, and I wouldn’t have to go to school without Edward. He left and I was ready when he picked me up.

On our way to school I realized that I had never gotten an answer to my question last night. The one about whether Edward had rethought his carefully planned boundaries. But now wasn’t the best time. We were in the school parking lot. Edward opened my door and led me to my locker. The first cloche, bell rang.

“I guess I’ll see toi later.” He a dit melancholy.

The suivant morning was much plus relaxed. It was Monday, and Bella and I were driving to school. We were both in good spirits until a block away from the parking lot. That’s when I picked up on his scent. A werewolf was waiting in the Forks High School parking lot, and I had a pretty good idea about who it would be. I scanned the parking lot for thoughts, and found Jacob’s face in some of the students minds whom had passed him by. This would not be good.

“If I asked toi to do something, would toi trust me?” I asked Bella.

She looked at me carefully, and I knew she could sense the stress...

Chapter 6: Unhappy Ending

The drive to California seemed to take an excruciatingly long time, even at vampire speeds. Carlisle was driving, his thoughts on work, with me in the passenger seat. Emmett and Jasper sat behind us, with Emmett’s thoughts shifting between Rosalie and his strategies for the looming hunting trip. Jasper kept begging me to settle down in his mind, and was concentrated on keeping me calm, although I’m not sure how much he was helping.

I eventually blocked out all their thoughts as best I could and got Lost in my own. The only thing I was capable of doing at that moment...

Chapter 5: Switzerland

Bella seemed distracted as she drove back towards Forks, no doubt Lost in thought about that mutt. She didn’t notice at first when my silver Volvo pulled up inches behind her bumper, but eventually she glanced in her review mirror, and her cœur, coeur soared. She knew Alice had called, and she knew I was probably angry. I assumed that when she saw I was behind her, she would pull over, but she continued driving, purposefully averting her eyes from my stare in her mirror. She obviously wasn’t ready to face me yet, which was just as well as I had yet to get my emotions completely...

“You’re really not that good of a mechanic, Edward. Maybe toi should have Rosalie look at it tonight, just so toi look good if Mike decides to let toi help, toi know. Not that it wouldn’t be fun to watch his face if Rosalie showed up to help. But since Rosalie is supposed to be across the country attending college, I guess that’s not the best idea. Too bad. Though, I suppose, for Mike’s car, you’ll do. It’s only within the finer tunings of a good Italian sports car that you’re out of your depth.
