How did toi feel about the bathroom scene when draco is crying and then harry uses the spell sectumsempra on him?

I felt so, so sorry for Draco in this scene- book and movie. He's under so much pressure and when Harry invades his privacy, Draco snaps. It's essential to his mission that know one knows what he's doing. What has Harry overheard? How long has he been standing there? All the pent-up anger and hatred that Draco has towards Harry just snaps and explodes out of him, and (in the book at least) he tries to use the Cruciatus Curse on Harry. Harry responds with Sectumsempra, although for all he knows it could be another Killing Curse. . . he should have just used Expelliarmus ou Stupefy.

toi really have to sympathize with Draco in HBP. He has to kill Dumbledore- a task even Voldy himself can't accomplish- and Draco knows Voldemort gave him the task because there's a very high chance he won't survive. And at he end toi know he's not ALL bad. He lowers his wand- he just can't bring himself to kill another person.

Yeah, Draco was under alot of pressure. I somewhat believe that he didn't really have a choice. I mean, come on, look at his father. He went bad and of course he would want his son to do the same. It was alot of pressure and whatnot on Draco.
And then Harry came out and used 'sectumsempra' on him. I had already read this part in the book, but I was still shocked par the scene. Harry didn't really know what he was doing, so that was pretty unfair. He didn't know what the spell would do and he could have killed Draco!!

But Draco was alright. And I'm happy with that ^-^

The scene is really powerful, and holds so many emotions for Draco. I really like it, but I was a little disappointed with the effect of Sectumsempra in the movie. The way it was described in the book was so plus violent. But it was still really good.

i didn't like what harry did to Draco. i thought draco would've died. i like draco.

I thought Tom Feltons jouer la comédie was brilliant in that scence because I really felt bad for Draco. As much as i like Harry it was really idiotic of hik to use a spell he did not know on a person. But Draco ws casting crucio! I did'nt think the sectumsempra bit was as good in the movie as it was in the book. It was over very quickly and if Malfoy was cut open he harldly made a noise!!!

I was shocked and when he hit the floor im whispering to my sister 'Is he bleeding?' my 16 an old sister was shocked than i was,since she's in l’amour with Draco. i was thinking

Mcrroxsursoxs that is a little harsh! Anyway, give Harry a little credit he didn't know what the spell did! But I agree with Maja3322. But he didn't die thankfully! But give Harry some credit he knew Draco was up to something and wanted to try the spell.....

I felt so bad for him. It is the only time i dislike Harry at all. Even though he didn't know what he was doing.

This scene was very intense and sad. toi couldn't help but feel bad for Draco, and I really did. Tom Felton did a great job with his acting, not only in this scene, par the way. He really proved himself in the WHOLE movie. But this was definitely one of the best scenes.

i really like this scene cuzz tom acted very well, and i dont hate harry for doing that cuzz he did not mean it.......really like the special effects and tom felton is really hot

I felt REALLY bad for Draco but I didn't blame Harry. Yes, it was stupid to use a spell that toi didn't know but they were in the middle of fighting, he didn't know what he was doing.
As for Draco, I feel that he thought it was exciting to be a Death Eater at first, but then he realized what he was actually doing and he kinda fell apart.... I almost cried when he did... I new that everybody had a little good on the inside :)

When I saw this scene, I honestly thought that Harry was going to talk to Draco and provide some sort of emotional support, but then Harry pulls out his wand and they start beating the crap out of each other. I wanted to slap Harry so bad right then. I started crying, and my cousin started laughing at me (she's a Malfoy hater). So I was very upset with Harry, especially since Draco was very vulnerable both physically and emotionally.

I feel so sorry for draco and hate harry for being such a jerk to him! That's actually the scene where i got a crush on draco! ;)

I loved that scene. Draco- Tom looked so Hot. toi know Tom is an amazing actor he sould try out for a vampire role. I'm not saying Twilight though. He has the looks. Anyway I foound a little unfair that Harry hit him and he never really hit Harry though. x.

honestly? I cried, when he cried...I was like :" AAAAWWW...NOOO... " and then Harry comes and...i would l’amour to use the same spell on him to let him know ....

the scene made me HATE harry! and made me fall even plus in l’amour with draco and i also cryed when i watched the scene it was so upsetting! =(

the book made plus of an emotional impact-(nerd alert)

Por que Draco tentou usar Crucio em Harry(aparece apenas no livro), e que Harry sempre odiou Draco, pois teve má impressão dele no primeiro encontro, já que para Harry, Draco lembrava Dudley Dursley(no encontro da Madame Malkin, presente apenas no livro).

I l’amour poor Draco he didn't have a choice about what he wanted to do with his life, he was born into it :( blasted Harry Potter; him and his bloody fame. The Harry Potter series is the best one ever, though!

Anyone who hurts my Draco when he is under so much pressure and stress MUST be the real evil one! Harry could tell he was stressed. Nothing that happened to Katie was Draco's fault, since he didn't curse her to wear it, that was supposed to be for Dumbledore, so it was really Katie's greed, and no harm really came of it, so Harry had no reason to hurt Draco. What Harry did was so horrible that I can't even think of words to express my feelings. If Harry even THINKS of cursing my Drakie again, then he will have another thing coming!

Though I'm not too dramatic about it, I did have a bit of sympathy for Draco and agree that Harry, though there were grudges and development-aswell as sheer curiosity involved-should not have used the spell on him. Harry should've left him alone and gone to, say, the Room of Requirement and tested the spell on a newt instead.

Draco and his families were going to help Voldemort destroy the world, he wasnt supporting a noble cause. Yeah I know he was being forced but as proven the good student in Hogwarts all would have rather died. Harry a dit he knew what Malfoy had done no wand drawn, totally passive. Malfoy was about to use the curse his Aunt had used to drive a family insane. He was going to do to Harry what had been done to Neville's parents. The wand helps us disconnect from the sheer horror of it all but in Muggle terms he was essentially going to stab harry with a white hot sword over and over and over. So Harry used a spell in defense, no intent of killing him. To defend himself. To stop himself from being tortured he used a spell that only caused a fraction of the damage the cruciatus would have. But its okay because Draco was going to kill Dumbledore to save himself and his evil family. The family that killed innocent people for sport and if they had it their way Voldemort would be at ultimate power. Why does everyone want to kill Dumbledore the man who saves people all the time, to save this family? Why do people think thats a good trade. Yeah i know it would be very hard and lots of pressure on Draco's part, but make no mistake, he got exactly what he deserved. What do toi guys think would happen if left to his own devices, he would follow in his parents' footprints. toi guys think he would grow up to be an auror? toi think he would have been a good person if Voldy hadnt stepped in? Everyone knew where he was headed, he would have grown up to be a death eater. Everyone says his actions were understandable because he hated Harry, but does anyone remember why? He hated Harry because Harry existed, he showed up, he was born so therefore Malfoy hated him. In an earlier book Malfoy was smugly bragging about how awesome things will be when Voldy gets to power, Malfoy was excited and happy for the regime to take effect. Now that he actually has to go through with his "love for voldy.. He is afraid and scared and he blames Harry and is ready to torture Harry. Hsrry defends himself and everyone defends to poor defenseless future death eater

Dissapointed in Harry. He should helped him ou leave him alone.

I think Draco never really asked for anything of that, it was something that runs in he's family he had no other choice, i completely understand him.

He deserves it. Filthy spoilt kid. Barty did good to him in the goblet of fire.
