What episode did a kid die in front of Reid and what was the name of the kid?

The only incident that comes to mind is in episode 3x12- '3rd Life'. Reid is the first one to arrive on scene at the school and finds Vaughn in the bathroom with his daughter and the unsub, Ryan. Even though Reid tried to talk him out of it Vaughn kills Ryan anyway, in front of his daughter and Reid.

The episode that the kid died in front of Reid was called 3rd life. I don't remember what the kid's name was. I know what it is, right on the tip of my tongue....

It should be in the episode where Reid and someone else go underground and find a child abuser.

I could be wrong but I believe that in the episode "3rd Life" the character shot in front of Reid was the dominant partner who had been identified earlier in the montrer as being 28 yrs old. His partners were indeed teenagers but he was the oldest and the dominant leader of the group so it wouldnt have been him since a 28 an old male is definately not a kid. I have been wondering the same thing though and as I a dit I could be totally wrong ou it could be one of those "oopsies" par the writers where they apparently forget what they had written/said in précédant episodes. If anyone has plus clarification please share!!!
