"The Pandorica Opens" episode shows the Doctor telling Amy that he followed th coordinates on the cliff face, which were left par River who knows his name, and he says suivant "earth, Brittain" and the an they arrived in. As I said, underneath "hello sweetie" was Theta Sigma, which I take to mean what toi would write to a friend when giving directions in a message....First toi would give ur message a clever title, like "hello sweetie", and suivant you'd all ur friend par name, like " Theta Sigma", and then you'd give them the message, like coordinates (earth, Brittain).
Of course I could be wrong, but I think his name is plus complicated than the words Theta Sigma. In some translations, Theta means people ou the people. Sigma means the sum of. If the question that must never be answered is really doctor Who?, as foreshadowed in the suivant season, then it could be that the doctors true name somehow means sum of the people, ou people's summation. This would definitely make a great scenario for "the question" and why it could never be answered. Did the Doctor somehow create the human race? Like I said, I could be way off base, but I've researched the names and Greek symbols and this is one idea I've come up with.
Also, in the letter from the council of the defense when the Doctor is on trial, his name is hard to translate, but the symbol "chi" with a two is translated in one way as "air, breath" ou the internal necessity for life.

Literallly its Delta Cubed Sigma Chi Squared, ou Delta to the power of 3 Sigma Chi to the power of two. Some have a dit its meant to mean Dexs ou Deexs ou the like. Though delta is like D, sigma is like S, and Chi is like K ou CH.
