THIS WOULD BE AN AWESOME FIGHT! They are both strong as well as mentally strong which is an advantage for both, however Ariel has experienced more adventures where she has to protect herself so i go for Ariel.

Belle is a weakling who's smart but pretty average and nothing special. Ariel on the other hand is more clever than people think, she's not on the same level as heroines like Mulan, Jane(Return To Neverland), or Melody. Plus Ariel's a bada**. Plus Belle is a real damsel in distress. She even had to be saved by a teacup who's six years old. SERIOSULY? A stinkin teacup who's only six? If a six year old that has no arms, legs, or a body for that matter is more heroic and useful than you than you know you're in trouble. She doesn't stand a chance against Ariel.

Hmm I think this is a pretty equal fight, could go either way. But I think Ariel would more likely let her emotions control her and Belle would more likely stay level headed. But it could go either way.

@KataraLover: ....Ariel had to be saved by a crab and a fish. She was completely useless in the final fight. In fact she didn't do anything smart, she was always messing up things, and everybody else had to fix her mess. She did not make a single smart decision, only dumb ones. Plus I don't see how is that related to the question.

Because winning a fight has to do with being clever, strong, and heroic. Three things Ariel has and Belle only has one of those things, she's not even that clever. Plus she's saved Eric and killed the two evil minons. Has Belle defeated anyone? NO! Besides if you've watched the series, which I know you haven't, you'd see she's clever and heroic. Besides she's still heroic and smart in the original. Besides what she did wasn't dumb, it was brave.
