I am see-sawing between Mulan and Ariel... and I know that they will both get to the top three... anyway, I love her probably more than I should, considering that she makes so many awful decisions, she would ordinarily be my least favorite princess. But I just hold this soft spot for her... I like the others more though, maybe except for Mulan.

These current results are almost EXACTLY how I feel about the remaining princesses (Ariel and Mulan tied for least, Jasmine a little bit behind, Belle more behind, and Cinderella far behind!)

I like Ariel basically, but she just makes awful decisions that are very selfish... I can't put her much higher than I do, even though I think she has a bubbly, fun personality.

People make a big deal about her, and she's just... not that cool imo!

Okay... I dislike her for being selfish and irresponsible. I can't forgive her for her escape, because she left her family which loved her just because she saw someone who seemed to be very handsome. I don't mind, love at first sight is ideal for cartoons, but to leave her family, to sell her voice to sea witch... Too much of stupid actions.. Besides I don't see her inner beauty, I'm afraid there is no any beauty inside. IMO

^hmm, the only different point is that I don't think she left her home JUST for Eric. I think she really wanted to be human but seeing Eric was the straw to break her back. :D

@ppv- I think she would. She only went because the eels persuaded her, right? Ursula had a plan to get Ariel to give up her voice, so remember she says "This is too easy!" when Ariel falls in love with Eric? She was planning to make Ariel give up her voice no matter what.

To sell the voice JUST FOR being a human is much more stupid action. So let me think she did it for Eric. It's at least quite romantic. Stupid, but a little romantic.

I don't think Ariel and Jasmine are spoiled selfish they both had horrible lives. Ariel wanted to be human WAY before she saw Eric he just added more reason plus nobody understood her under the sea(Well maybe Flounder). Jasmine hello her only friend was her pet and she was being forced to marry before her 16th birthday. As for Belle it looks like she won't be winning this countdown she's just not as fun or intreasting as the others I like them more than her especually Ariel.

They didn't have have lives, they are cartoons. And their "lives" weren't horrible, they had everything, ok, maybe Jasmine didn't, but Ariel had everything.

^ Exactly, cromulanfav. My point is, Jasmine irks me because she lives in an awesome palace and is like "WAHH", while Cinderella is forced to sleep in the attic and keeps a positive attitude. I just don't think Jasmine is very thankful for what she has. However, I do like how she loves Aladdin for who he is.
