I'm having trouble deciding between Belle and Rapunzel. Belle obviously prefers following her own rules even if she is very proper. however, even though she ran away once, she came back and fulfilled her end of the bargain by staying and not trying to leave again. Rapunzel couldn't decide if she felt bad or happy about running away at first, but later decided she didn't care; however, she did come back like she had planned to, although under different circumstances. Both are defiant, just in different ways. But Rapunzel didn't know she was taking emotional abuse, and Belle would certainly not put up with that. Urgh, can't decide.

She likes being her own person, and goes by her own rules.

Rapunzel DID put up with emotional abuse, knowingly or not. It's not like Gothel was flowers and happiness before she ran away. There were multiple cases of Gothels verbal abuse, out of these Belle is the most longing for adventure and defiant.

^I know, but my point is she didn't know so she wouldn't run away for good as Jasmine would. that's one reason why she goes back. Belle definitely wouldn't, so maybe I'll pick her.
