Poca's and John's definitely starts out on lust/infatuation, but later passionate infatuation (they probably did love each other but it always felt to me more like just passion). Ariel, on th eother hand, falls for Eric sheerly out of lust and does love him later, but her lust really outweights the other two's, despite it being one sided (Eric clearly likes and loves Ariel, he didn't lust after her to begin with). Plus Poca was willing to let John go, so she wasn't that obsessed with him.

Or Ariel and Eric. But I don't see them so passionate as Jasmine and Aladdin (from Eric's part anyway)

How can Ariel rule a kingdom when she doesn't know how to be a human princess?

It seem they are more in lust than in love.

I voted for them instead of Jasmine and Aladdin because Ariel and Eric do not converse with one another and they are in love. If you look at this scenes, BOTH Ariel and Eric are staring at one another constantly, and check one another out with their eyes. Eric did not have anything else to base off of other than her looks, so he lusts for her as well (Not as much as Ariel lusts for him, but nonetheless).

Aladdin and Jasmine actual had conversations, and knew some details about one another (more than most DP couples), but they are very passionate as well. They don't like one another just off of their looks, but they are for sure my next vote.

^Yeah, they might have had conversations, but they obviously didn't pay much attention to what each other was saying. To me, that says a lot more about physical attraction than the fact that Eric and Ariel. Ariel physically couldn't talk to Eric, but she still was able to express herself, and they did communicate in their time together. Ariel was completely herself and expressive, and Eric fell for her personality. Also, Eric was taking it slow with Ariel. Jasmine and Aladdin, on the other hand, were very physically passionate and, while they did talk, did not communicate.

^ She expressed herself, but not much for them to have a clue about who the other was. Eric thought she as seriel was weird when she combed her hair with her comb, he did not think it was cute, or the former outweighed the latter. When they were on the tour, they did have a good time dancing, but when they were on the horse, he looked at her since she was looking underneath the carriage (he thought she was curious or was just looking at her ass). Then the "Kiss The Girl" sig happened and he finally learned her name (thanks to Sebastian). What did they learn about one another over that course? He likes dogs, he can play a recorder, no parents.... She is curious, does weird things? This is not enough, and Eric checked her out more than a few times also. At least Aladdin knew that she is smart, fun, wants to be independent, and is flirty, and she knows that he is mostly by himself (at least for most of the movie), he feels trapped, helpful, generous, and is romantic. They know much more about eachother than the former (even though Aladdin lied), even bough they are passionate as well. Ariel did not express herself as mch as people on here says she does... And the looks were a decent portion of why Eric liked her as well, though both Jasmien and Aladdin like each other's looks.

Definitely! Ariel is one of the most-lustful Disney characters! It was not love what she felt for Eric, it was lust. Eric doesn't show it so obviously, but he also has his lustful moments.

They both fell immediately in love after a few seconds of seeing each other and with barely any talking.

Ariel went gaga over his looks and risked her life for him because she thought he was good looking. They fell in love with eachother after a few seconds.

^^Lol!

i agree w/ rhytmicmagic. aladdin AND jasmine never listened to each other. even their song isnt about love, its about having an adventure and they still get all intimate.
plus aladdin decided to rescue her in the market just cause he find her hot, how is that different from how ariel saved eric after finding him hot?
