Aladdin won out in votes, but they had an equal number of comments, so COMMENT!

The style is too much that of a caricature. It is a very generic style, one you can find from any animation company, nothing about it seems special.

I actually love Aladdin's animation style but TLM has such pretty colors lol I know I have such strong points.

They're both SOOOOO great, it's so hard. But seeing the beginning of TLM, I'm finally convinced.

The animation in both movies are great, but it's animation looks like Sleeping Beauty's, and it came out 30 years later. The landscapes so not blend with the other objects and people. It's like. Was done by two completely different people with two completely different ideas, and slammed it together. But they had a small budget when working on this. Aladdin's animation may not be the most groundbreaking, but it is a lot better

I love the Aladdin style

Seriously how did Sleeping Beauty beat these two. They've had more development over time while Sleeping Beauty is FAR too old fashioned. It's dull, dark, and the characters look funny and weird. Anyway I love the animation in The Little Mermaid but it's too 80's and Aladdin's animation is better because it had more improvement over time.

too cartooney....and I actually love the fluid motions in Ariel, even if the backgrounds are a little bit empty.
@KataraLover Live with it, there are actually people here who appreciate the work which went into Sleeping Beauty, and who like seeing something different than the typicel Disney style once in a while.

The picture used for TLM is just an awesome example of why I like it more.
I don't have anything against the animation in Aladdin, but it's just not as good.

Both have a great animation, but if I have to choose... sorry, Aladdin :(

Both movies don't have really good animation, especially considering they're both/one is within five years of Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Pocahontas, and The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Anyway, both are too cartoony, but this one more so.

@KataraLover: Personally I think Aladdin and The Little Mermaid are the movies with characters who look funny and weird. A lot of characters in those movies have strange faces in my opinion. Sleeping Beauty's characters are all pretty gorgeous in my opinion. Even the minor characters are very well drawn.

As I said before, it does have great animation, but there are not that many places, where it's really stunning! While in Aladdin I love the style and some of the scenes are absolutely amazing!
