wow Rapunzel went before Jasmine?

I don't see her as being that smart Belle has a thing for knowledge because she loves books and Tiana knows where she is going and how she is going to get there

I know I was voting for Jasmine, but then I just finished Aladdin today, I found her a bit smarter then Belle.

Belle has an inventor as a father. She used to live a normal life with no problems, so she ha to be well educated right? Same with all of the princesses. But I feel a small knack of flaws in Jasmine's intelligence. If she's such a rebel, then talking to her father could be a good start. Her country has some ridiculous laws, and what does she do? Run-away. Change some laws with her dad, ask for some exploring, then she would still get her happy ending with Aladdin. (With Jafar's drama, of course. but then again, I wouldn't have it any other way.)

I went into great detail already about why this girl needs to go so hopefully she goes...I personally feel Rapuzel was alot smater then Jasmine or Belle but whatever....Next should be belle...or if Belle goes now then Jasmine, but they both need to go before the final 2....

How is Tiana in third place in votes? She is easily the least intelligent of these four, she believes that Naveen is human and marrying Lottie when she is STILL A FROG, and the cures had been explained to her! Rapunzel did incredibly intelligent things in her tower. She TAUGHT HERSELF to chart stars. That must be genius level intelligence. I might even say she is the smartest. She was unaware of the outside world, that does not equate lack of intelligence!

Why is Rapunzel gone, sometimes she can be just as cunning and intelligent as Mulan but other times she makes stupid decisions just like Ariel and Snow White. Same goes for Tiana but she doesn't have really smart moments like Mulan, Jasmine, Belle and Rapunzel

Seriously, I think we have to leave a comment to prove that it's not rigged....what is the point if Rapunzel nevetheless has to go first, even though there was only one single comment against her, and Tiana is still there, even though she only had one or two votes less than Rapunzel and a whole site of comments against her? I feel cheated and I won't participate in this countdown any longer!

She's not so smart

I am absolutely sick of people saying "OH NO BELLE READS FAIRYTALES SHE'S NOT THAT SMART ALL SHE READS ARE FAIRYTALE BOOKS" um just because it's obviously her favourite genre it doesn't mean it's the only thing she freakin' reads. For one thing she reads Romeo and Juliet to the Beast and while that's a romance book it's NOT a fairytale (and it's William Shakespeare for crying out loud). Belle is clearly a frequent visitor of the bookshop ("Got anything new?" "Not since yesterday!") and I find it *very* hard to believe that the only books he sells are fairytale books and I find it even harder to believe that they're the only books she would read! It strikes me that she read every book in the shop, but that's just my opinion.

My favourite sort of books are fantasy books (e.g. Harry Potter) and they're basically all I talk about, whenever I go to book shops I seek out the fantasy books first, but it doesn't mean it's the only thing I read!

I really don't care at all if Belle is eliminated, it's just I've seen THAT REASON so much over the years and it does my head in.

^ Belle is not stupid but she is not THE smartest princess as people like to perceive her as. The fact that she is intensely invested in reading - and I'll leave her genre preferences untouched - definitely adds up to her intelligence but the fact that she barely does any observations or draws her OWN conclusions about the world or situations she happens to get in, like, for instance, Mulan and Rapunzel, doens't scream "the smartest" to me.

The fact that Rapunzel is already eliminated makes no sense to me. She is by far more naturally intelligent than most of the princesses and definitely more intelligent than most people would be in her situation.

Yes, Belle is not as smart as Mulan or Rapunzel, but she is definitly smarter than the other princesses - she does draw her own conclusion, and she seeks out more information. That's the reason she goes into the west wing.

Belle reads fairy tales. I'm not calling her dumb, but she's not exactly the smartest of all these options.

I think Rapunzel was eliminated too early. She seems smarter than Tiana and maybe Belle.

Swanpride Belle goes to west wing because of curiosity which was her natural trait, not because of her analytical skills. She is incredibly intelligent, but she is not smart. Mulan is - exactly due to her ability to analyze even the most hopeless situation and come up with the best and most fitting strategy to succeed. Belle continuously failed in that departement: going to West Wing was objectively not the right decision at that point, because it could have had unpredictable consequences and running into the forest filled with wolves also wasn't the smartest movie. Intelligence does not define being smart therefore I choose Mulan and Rapunzel as the smartest DP's over Belle.

Well, you can't blame Belle for 'running into the forest' b/c what choice did she have? She probably thought she was going to get killed by the Beast. I certainly think Mulan & Rapunzel are smarter than Belle, but that is poor reasoning.

I did not say that I blame her and I wouldn't vote against her untill Tiana and Jasmine are eliminated because in my opinion they are by far less thoughtful and smart. However, running into the forest with no protection WAS stupid and delusional and had it not been for Beast she would have died.

@maryksand You realize that I agreee with you that Rapunzel and Mulan are more intelligent and smarter, are you? I just inssist that Belle is very intelligent too, and deserves place three...and since Rapunzel was unfairly voted out by people who didn't even bother to comment (and I still think that there should have been at least a tiebreaker), there is no question that it's too early to vote against Belle.
