I love Cinderella and I can see why people love her, I just don't connect with her as much as other people do. I haven't warmed up to her. Yet.

She is a bit overrated but compared to the other princesses I think she gets enough love.

She seems to be overshadowed by other DPs.

she's the most respected of the classics, but that's not saying much. People like to bash Cinderella because she's the most well known.

and if being called overrated is an insult as some of you think, then Cinderella is being insulted because I've seen her get called that plenty of times, despite plenty of people criticizing and hating her for being a "doormat" and criticized for things that aren't even related to her movie (like waiting around for a prince).

Emma, just because you dislike her (which is fine) doesn't mean she's overrated. The fact that most people would agree with you ought to show that.

I think she's the most underrated on Fanpop. Although, Idk about you guys but I know a lot of people IRL that have her as number 1.

Outside of fanpop, she seems to be criticized a lot for being a damsel in distress. she's not my favorite, but I never really saw her as someone who needed saving.

Both in and out of Fanpop, though more and more people have been respecting her lately. Actually, just what AudreyFreak said.

I've seen more people start to love her on Fanpop. I do see her getting criticized, but a lot of people really love her.

I've never felt she deserves all the praise for being hopeful, because I think she could have helped herself a lot more by standing up for herself and/or running away.
