Snow White and Cendrillon were still holding Aurora’s body when Cendrillon opened the door and found confusion in the kitchen’s halls. “What is going on outside?” jasmin asked confusedly. “I heard this banging with your leave.”
“Funny,” Cendrillon replied. “We heard the bang.”
However, the conversation stopped as Belle and jasmin noticed the sleeping Aurora. They rushed over and Belle concluded, “She must be…”
“The fifth princess,” jasmin and Belle stated, looking at each other, surprised that the other stated the exact thing.
“She’s named Aurora,” Cendrillon told the other two princesses as she and Snow White settled Aurora on a chair before going around to sit on their usual chairs.
With Aurora still sleeping an heure later, Mrs. Potts bounced up urgently. “Ladies,” she told them. “It’s five o’clock now. dîner is supposed to start in two hours, and we can’t get anywhere with a princess still absent and the other one sleeping. Would toi just try to wake Aurora up?” Mrs. Potts asked.
“What’s with the commotion? a soft, gentle feminine voice responded. Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and jasmin turned around and noticed Aurora rise up from her chair. “Oh…I was so sleepy…oh dear, where did I go? I do not remember this place.”
“You are in my château for the princess party,” Belle told Aurora.
“Oh, is that so?” Aurora responded. “Why, I did not even know that there was a princess party.”
“Well, here toi are,” jasmin told her.
“Are toi ready for dinner?” Lumiere asked her brightly. “It is supposed to start in an hour…”
“Oh yes,” Aurora stated.
Belle then suggested, “Let’s get in our nicest clothes right now.”
“Nicest clothes?” Aurora asked, who was wearing a green dress. “Why, I have nicer sets…”
“You are fine, Aurora,” Cendrillon told her. Snow White then stated, “I am fine too, my clothes are fancy.”
Belle, Cinderella, and jasmin then took off upstairs, leaving Snow White and Aurora in the kitchen. “Let’s prepare for dinner!” Snow White suggested.
Snow White soon set up the silverware of the table, tableau and the placemats, and then she asked Cogsworth, “What is for dinner?”
“A soufflé and a meat pie,” Cogsworth told her.
“Tres grand!” Lumiere added on.
“Let’s get cooking!” Mrs. Potts told Cogsworth and Lumiere, and soon the three started cooking in the kitchen, convincing the non-human objects in the château to help out with the cooking. “How are toi doing this?” Aurora asked Mrs. Potts.
“Oh, just magic with the cooking! There was an enchantment of the château to make us all objects, and now even though only a few of us can talk, the other cooking items have souls with devoted cooking ideas and helping out the castle.”
“Ah, very nice,” Aurora stated, contentedly sitting at her chair.
There was then a knock at the door. Snow White opened it, and Belle, Cinderella, and jasmin came in with ravishing gowns. Belle sported a yellow ball robe that was very glamorous. Cendrillon wore a ball robe too, but it was in a very light shade of blue. Jasmine, not coming from a cold area, borrowed one of Belle’s fourrure coats, this one was lilas in color.
To pass time, Belle then read a book to the other princesses, which turned out to be Rapunzel. Just as she finished reading, Lumiere shouted, “Dinner is served!” exuberantly.
The five princesses scooted their chairs closer into the dîner table, tableau and Mrs. Potts stated, “Well, well, well, we are right on schedule…”
“No, no, no, toi can’t eat yet,” Cogsworth complained as Snow White was about to take a bit of the soufflé. “We have to wait for the sixth princess I’m afraid ou else she will be really angry at all of us.”
“You’re right,” Aurora replied and she stated, “We have to be courteous to our new guest,” as Snow White reluctantly put her arms on her lap once again.
The princesses continued to wait for some time, smelling the savory scent of the soufflé wafting up to their noses. “Oh, can’t she just montrer up?” jasmin groaned from across the table.
“I do need something to eat,” Snow White replied.
“Just wait for the sixth princess to come,” Aurora told Snow White and Jasmine. “Oh dear, nearly an heure has passed since we were supposed to eat dinner,” Mrs. Potts stated. “What is taking our sixth girl? She got into town quite a while ago…”
“I’m going to go check on her to see where she is,” Lumiere stated, and he started to patrol around the door to wait for the suivant princess.
The minutes went par and par and now all were hungry. Belle tried to read out of Jack in the Beanstalk to alleviate some of their hunger, but it didn’t go over to well.
“I knew this was a bad idea to wait,” Cogsworth stated glumly.
“Cogsworth, toi suggested this,” Chip wisecracked at him.
“Hey!” Cogsworth jabbed at Chip.
“Maybe we should just eat,” Cendrillon told the rest of them, with Snow White and jasmin vigorously nodding and Aurora looking a little bit annoyed, before there was a halting banging noise outside. “It was that noise again!” Cendrillon stated. “What could it be?”
“Is it the sixth princess?” Belle asked and then she went to the front door to check. However, nobody was around. “No, no one’s at the front door…maybe they are above. Besides, the noise isn’t coming from down here anyway…it must be coming from above.”
But just as Belle, with her intense curiosity was about to check the situation out, there was noise from the outside. The dog, which was turned into the footstool, raced to the cuisine and started barking.
“Goodness gracious, is it she?” Mrs. Potts asked as the dog barked excitedly.
“It must be, if the pooch is so friendly!” Cogsworth stated excitedly.
“Well, let’s welcome her in, and we’ll make sure that she will be our guest!” Lumiere stated happily. “Let’s bring her in and then…”
“We can eat!” Snow White cheered with excitement.
“Funny,” Cendrillon replied. “We heard the bang.”
