Snow White: 16th Century Germany
Though the movie never explains where they take place, it is a dit to be set there since it was based off the Brother’s Grimm.

Cinderella: 19th Century France
Disney’s first film ever set in France though not explicitly. Evidence is that the words like ‘mademoiselle’ ‘Château’ and Tremaine is a French surname.

Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty): Most likely Late 14th Century France
While some people argue that it’s set in either England ou Germany, the movie NEVER explains where they took place though I have many evidence why it was believed to be set in France near the border of Germany. First reason is that Eyvind Earle and the artists took their art inspiration on an illustration that was based off of the gothique and Middle Ages of France, most notably the French manuscript, written par the Limbourg Brothers, called ‘Jean Duc DuBerry.’ Stefan’s château is NOT only based off of the Neuschwanstein château in Germany, but also many castles in France such as the château De Usse, Saumuer, and Chambord. Not only it was based off of a French fairy tale of the same name in which they borrowed some highlights from the Brothers Grimm retelling, but some of the designs, architectures, and some banners are partly 80% French, such as the Fleur De Lys. In the beginning, the narrator mentioned the ‘high ou low estate’, which refers to the three-estate systems used in France before the French Revolution. The name Flora was first used in 15th Century France. Some of the names are partly French like Aurora for Aurore, Stefan for Stephene, Fauna for Fawn, Phillip for Phillipe, and the French words like ‘troubadour’ and ‘en guarde’ are used in the birth scene and the argument respectively if toi listen carefully. Perhaps the most important evidence that it’s beloved to be in France is the old national anthem called ‘Vive Henry IV’ which was adapted par Tchaikovsky, in which George Bruns reinterpreted that anthem. Just because it has the old French anthem doesn’t mean it’s in England! If it was set in England, then it has to be ‘God save the Queen.’ Theirs too much Disney films set in England so it cannot be set in UK ou England because the movie does NOT tell ou explain where it is located!

Ariel (The Little Mermaid): 19th Century Denmark ou Spain

Belle (Beauty and the Beast): 18th Century France

jasmin (Aladdin): Saudi Arabia

Odette (The cygne Princess): Most likely Medieval England
Even though the movie was based on the Russian ballet and a German folklore, the movie was believed to be set in Medieval England for a lot of reasons, such as the architecture, landscape, and clothing that kinda reminds me of Medieval England. I also have plus evidence to support this claim that most of the characters speak in English accents, except Derek, Odette, Speed and Jean Bob (who speaks French). During the scene of ‘Princesses on Parade’ Lord Rogers mentions one of the towns of England called Colchester. Odette’s father was probably based off of William the Conquerer. I can tell that the forest was probably based off of the New Forest in Hampshire and the lake inspired par the Saint James park in London. Another evidence is that Derek’s friend was named after the same name of a town in London.

Pocahontas: 1607 Virginia, USA

Esmeralda: 15th Century France

Megara (Hercules): Greece

Anastasia: Russia to France

Mulan: China

Jane (Tarzan): England
Even though the story takes place in Africa, Jane was from England.

Crysta (Ferngully: The Last Rainforest): Australia

Giselle (Enchanted): 2007 New York, America

Tiana (Princess and the Frog): 1920’s Louisiana
The story originally came from Germany called the Frog Prince, but the movie is set in America

Rapunzel (Tangled): 19th Century Germany
Her story was based on the same name par the Brothers Grimm.

Merida (Brave): Medieval Scotland

Anna and Elsa (Frozen): Norway

Moana: Polynesia

I finally worked out how to do this. My mistake was mixing too many languages together which made it impossible to translate it back into full English. That's why Snow White's paragraph came back with only one sentence. I've done a remake of it with funny results including Cendrillon and Aurora's stories.

Snow White's Background

"Snow White was born into the royal family. Her mother died shortly after her birth. After some time, Snow White's father remarried a vain and cold-hearted queen. Not long after their marriage, the King, Snow White's...

I am decided to sort DPs to Hogwarts Houses. I'll illustrate this article with pictures where each DP best exhibits the traits of house she belongs( Gryffindors do something risky, Hufflepuffs are doing something useful ou exhibit frinedliness, Ravenclaws read ou explore something, Slytherins are tricking someone ou dream about something). Warning: I have some unpopular opinions but I'll try to explain them. This is how I interpretent Hogwarts Houses and their values:
Gryffindors are first of all are brave, courageous, outspoken and risky. They are also often progressive, rebellious, mischievous,...

Cinderella château and Wishing Well

I've written many posts about the various attractions in Disney theme parks based around the films I've been watching. Some have been prominent rides such as Snow White's Scary Adventure ou Pinocchio's Daring Journey. Others have been obscure areas such as the Fantasia golfing attraction ou ephemeral like Bambi's presence in the parks. Some have merely been meet and greets.

Cinderella, however, is a film whose impact on Disney theme parks is huge. It forms, after all, the centre-piece of Disney World itself - Cinderella's Castle; a massive structure visible...

A Disney Tale: A young girl is forced into drudgery par her step-family, only to win the cœur, coeur of the kingdom's Prince and live happily ever after.

Disney Hero: Ostensibly, the 'hero' of Cendrillon is the Prince (never actually referred to as Prince Charming, despite that being what he is generally known as today. Some sources have him named as Henry.). It is he who romances Cendrillon and desires her as his wife after the ball. But, actually, the real Heroes of Cendrillon - for me - are Jaq and Gus, Cinderella's mice friends. They are the one's who rescue Cendrillon from her attic room. Jaq...

So Anna was a little plus interesting to write because as I started écriture Anna's, I thought about how I used Elsa the end of the movie as a basis for making her princess liste so I tried to focus on end of the movie Anna. However, I realized that, although I felt like Anna had changed-- she actually hadn't. I became conscious of the fact that the narrative was making Anna go through all the motions and dramatic arcs of someone going through a change, but she was still the same person at the end of the movie. Also, like Snow White, I think Anna would absolutely adore all of the Disney Princesses....

This is what I think Merida's princess liste would be if she were fan of Disney Princesses. We will never know for certain what Merida's princess liste would be, but we can make general assumptions. I think while some of toi may not agree with every placement, the general ranking of who would be at the bottom, middle , and haut, retour au début of her liste will be the same in all of our opinions:) Thanks to wavesurf for helping me out!

10. Aurora

Predictably, Merida wouldn't have a taste for the classic princesses. Aurora would likely be in last place. Merida's main gripe against Aurora would be that she let...

toi can call this an article to defend the princesses. Not only Classic DPs, other princesses probably get a lot of hate on any false statement. Those misconceptions which people tend to hate some DPs about, aren’t entirely true btw.

Snow White – Backboneless

Umm, some people do say this at times. Just because she was in distress and was rescued par a man, doesn’t mean she’s backboneless. Okay, fans might blame her for overacting and being afraid of some trees, but that isn’t timid. Some people have a mental disorder called Nyctohylophobia, that is the fear of trees. So, facing...

Hi guys, I know Snow is not the most beloved princess, but I´m glad everyday she gets plus l’amour and appreciation from people. ^^ So for those people that may just not care about her o don´t like her, this article is for toi :D

--Character Analysis--

Snow White is the 1st Disney Princess and the protagonist of SW7D, also the 1st Disney movie. The movie starts with an old storybook that tells us a little bit of Snow´s story: her parents died at childbirth and she lived with her evil stepmother that abused her por treating her as a scullery maid and dressed her in rags so she couldn´t surpass...

Hi everybody! In case you're new to the club and/or unfamiliar with these articles, let me explain. This type of article has been done in past par a few other users to showcase some of the current Disney Princess fans. Now obviously there are many other members in this club, besides the ones listed here, but it is pretty much impossible to include everyone for various reasons. But anyway, each person involved is listed according to their favori princess, and there is a short summary of that person, so we can all get to know each other a little bit better.

Before we get started, I do want to...

It's been 4 years since I last made a princess liste and I feel that it needs an update. Unlike my earlier duration on fanpop where I could never keep my liste constant, my liste has stayed pretty much consistent over time since my original departure. It's difficult for me to make favori princess lists, not because of being so negatively opinionated, but actually because I genuinely like all of the princesses.

Rapunzel has a quality I find frustrating and regrettably common in modern heroines- she's endearingly quirky. It irks me because I think there is a societal...
