I've already written articles on my favori princesses and action scenes, and now the countdow is about the "I want" songs. That's one of my favori moments in all DP movies. jasmin doesn't have any solo song, so I didn't include her in the countdown.

Please notice I considered the scenes as a whole, not only the song.

9. Snow White - "Someday my prince will come"
This song is short, and it doesn't help that it's showed in the middle in the movie - It doesn't add nothing about Snow White's personality. It also doesn't help that she sang it sitting on a chair, that forbidded the animation to match the music, differently from the best songs. However, I like that Snow White starts like she was going to tell a fairy tale and after reveals that it's her own story. It also improves the closure between her and the dwarfes.

8. Sleeping Beauty - "I Wonder"
It is a little shocking to hear Aurora's strong chant voice after he heard how sweetly she speaks. And I don't really like that. Other than that, this song is a little poor in information about Aurora and its melody isn't very memorable.

7. Mulan - "Reflection"
Don't get me wrong, I l’amour this song, its "chinese" melody and its lyrics, but it's a little hard for Mulan to sing so early in the movie, when she isn't even sure about what she is inside (by the end of the song, that's basically everything she explained). However, I think it was clever that she sung in front of her own reflections and taking off her makeup.

6. Raiponce - "When will my life begin?"
This song has amazing lyrics (they give a lot of information about Rapunzel), but the melody doesn't match them, being a little unmemorable. I also don't like that most of the scene is like a videoclipe and we only see Rapunzel chant in its end. Maybe that's why I like the reprise plus than the first montrer of the song.

5. Pocahontas - "Just around the riverbend"
I l’amour everything about this scene - The setting, the animation (that water is amazingly animated), the lyrics and the melody. The scene also proves us that Pocahontas is mature, yet funny. It's very interesting how we are able to see the different interpretations Pocahontas and her father have about the river. I would put it higher if that "Just around the riverbend" thing wasn't a little vague. And I really like the others more.

4. Beauty and the Beast - "Belle"
This song's lyrics and melody are both wonderful. I like how Belle starts chant just as she appears on screen and I particulary like the reprise, because it's entirely sung par her, while a good part of the first montrer is sung par people from the village and Gaston. I also don't like that the song is constantly interrupted (library scene/Gaston and Lefou's scene).

3. Cendrillon - "A Dream is a wish your cœur, coeur makes"
I think this song is even better than Pinocchio's "When toi wish upon a star" when it comes to convincing people that their dreams really can come true. I l’amour the lyrics and the melody (and I like that it was reused in the mice song, though some people seem to dislike it). The scene manages to make the audience fall instantly in l’amour with Cinderella.

2. The Princess and the Frog - "Almost There"
The seconde Oscar Nominated song of this liste (the first being "Belle") went very far in my countdown. I like its lyrics and its jazzy melody. I think that it perfectly completes Cinderella's song because toi really can't let everything to faith. The animation style of this dream sequence is very clever. I also identify a lot with this song, because just like Tiana, I've been working hard to achieve my dream of becoming a doctor.

1. The Little Mermaid - "Part of your World"
I've loved this song since I was 4 years old, and it is already part of my life. But even if I had watched the movie for the first time yesterday, I'm sure this would still be my haut, retour au début song. Its melody is the sweetest I've ever heard and manages to carry the whole movie, while the lyrics sound natural and are full of information about Ariel. This song (just like the others of the movie) opened a whole new way of making animated movies, and if toi have similar ones in "Beauty and the Beast", "Aladdin" ou "The Lion King", the credit is definitively Ariel's.

 Hello Lily!!
Hello Lily!!
Hi guys, again I'm neither being prejudice nor am I putting down Emma Watson in any form of way, especially her jouer la comédie skills. So are my thoughts on what would really happen if Lily James played Belle instead.

Interesting Idea

In a récent interview with Lily, she doesn't mind being typecast in periodical costumes since she was previously from Downton Abbey.
Secondly, Lily can actually sing as we all heard her at the 2015 Cendrillon reboot ending credits with her rendition of A Dream Is A Wish Your cœur, coeur Makes, so playing Belle would be a challenge for her.

Not So Good Idea

I personally think...

Yes, my MBTI posts are back! I've studied the cognitive functions a lot plus so they'll be a little different. I have many other Disney MBTI posts ready on my link so I'll be posting plus soon.

Introverted Sensing (Si): Though Belle says she wants excitement and adventure, she never actually does anything about it. She stays in town, performing the same routine every day: go into town, get books, read them, do some chores around the house. It bores her, but it's what she knows and is comfortable with. Later, she eventually falls into the same routines, reading, taking walks, feeding the...

 Greetings Dracula!
Greetings Dracula!
Hi guys, okay I am not sure if Disney is daring enough to make a vampire princess. So here are my thoughts on it!

They Should Make a Vampire Princess

I personally think Disney should take the challenge to make a vampire princess, I mean we already have The Vampire Diaries, True Blood, The Twilight Saga and Anne Rice's vampire stories!
They could make the antagonist inspired from Elizabeth Bathory, in which she is a vain vampire throughout the movie!

The Shouldn't Make a Vampire Princess

It will probably intimidate young children, unless the directors watch Hotel Transylvania for inspiration to make it plus family friendly.
Secondly, I hope that the movie is not going to be like the Twilight Saga.

Vampire ou Not?

I have always wanted to see a vampire princess for a change, do toi agree?
 Hello Bella Swan.
Hello Bella Swan.
Hi!! I am an old member of this club, I'm not sure if anyone here is been around long enough to remember me, but Disney is kind of my religion. It adds sweetness in my life, and my favori characters are the Disney Princesses. So I am updating my favori DP liste (I think it's been 5 ou 6 years since I last wrote one), so here we go! (Sorry if there's some bad english, I'm brazilian..)

14) Jasmine

Jasmine may be the one DP I dislike. She screams feminism and independece during the whole movie, but she does very little to establish herself as a strong, level-headed ou feminist character....
