Debby is just about to turn 19 (her birthday is the 13 of May), so 2011 has been her first an of dating.
Why did she wait until she turned 18? “The whole point of these [teenage] years is figuring out who toi are and where you’re going.”
So Debby wanted to get to know herself first before going out with guys. But even though it’s been a an since she decided to open up, she hasn’t found that special someone yet.
But, even though l’amour hasn’t come knocking for Debby yet, all of these years of waiting helped Debby to really have a good idea of what she wants:
“The most important thing in a relationship is not having to agree with everything that person says. I don’t have a problem saying ‘I l’amour you, but I really don’t like your taste in music.”
So was it worth it to wait so long? “Waiting until I was 18 was a really cool thing to do. Things change a lot when toi grow up.”
What do toi think of Debby’s decision? Do toi agree that girls should wait until they’re 18 to rendez-vous amoureux, date guys?
