Hi!!I'm new here and it is my first article so don't be harsh...

First of all 3x04 was a little weird to watch because suddenly everybody remembered that Damon is the bad guy...!!Caroline was telling Elena all his bad qualities again,like nothin changed.He spent all summer with Alaric trying to find Stefan,rescued them at the mountain and now Ric tells him to back off Elena!!!Why?Because they need him only when they are near danger?When everything is fine he is not allowed to be near her?I understand than after witnessing the bedroom scene at 3x02 and feeling responsible for Elena and Jeremy now that every other guardian is dead,he is concerned.But that does not justify his manner...That,I think,is a big part of the reasin why Damon snapped.He did nothing wrong all summer,he does not let himself be himself and nobody apreciates that.So he goes on being regular Damon angain.Also,Damon is a character that is not used to people expecting things of him and do not want them to...So he was under a lot of pressure and he is known for reckless decisions when he feels that way..I do not support the killing Alaric scene,but I understand it...That is one big beauty of Damon as a character for me:You do not agree with what he does but toi understand him and feel for him..He is not an one-dimensional character.Ian Somerhalder does an excellent job with his character.

Moving on at the 3x05 promo.I do not thing that the Kiss with Katherine is a big deal.It is something to be expected from him at this emotional state.Let's remember he had a fight with Elena again and,althought he does not montrer it he always takes those seriously...He also feels trapped and needs to escape..So he sees Katherine as a distraction and goes for it...It will be over and he will return to Elena,she is the one he really loves(and despite the public thought I think that these two deserve to be endgame plus than everyone!)Or maybe,he might be trinking her in order to recover the necklase...The point is that I do not think that we should be making a huge deal out of it,Damon's and Katherine's relationship is centered to just using(and I do not meen only sexually) one another when necessary...

Bottomline,Damon is enolving.That is a fact,even if everybody don't see it even if he does not want to admitt it and takes reckless desicions.Elena sees it,admitts it and wants everybody,especially him, to do the same to see why see loves him,beacause that she loves is an undeniable truth for me.It is just a long road and we have to be patient...
