There was a significant amount of “Caskett” this week, starting, yes, with the sad scene in which she announced her intention to déplacer out the rest of her things, but ultimately pairing them up par themselves for a final bit of investigating.

The bigger mystery, however, involved the long-running series itself. Namely, does it look and feel much different now, with Rick and Kate apart/estranged/separated? And if it does, it that an insurmountable thing?

The heure started off pleasantly enough, with Rick gifting newly named Captain Beckett with a bit of confection, inside of which was a bracelet engraved with, of course, “Always.”

Honestly, I would have resented, after 21 years as an actor, to be brought on a montrer simply to be somebody’s romantic interest. [Laughs] It’s not a soap opera. So I like the fact that work is No. 1 on her plate.
