Calvin & Hobbes Question

How did toi become a fan of Calvin & Hobbes?

Basically, how'd toi get into it?

My brother read them all the time, and I was bored one day, so I picked up one of his Calvin & Hobbes books, and I got hooked!

What about toi guys?

My dad used to read them when he was younger and he made sure to pass the l’amour onto me. When I was little he'd always put me on his lap and read some of the strips to me ou lend me his C&H book. It brings back so many great memories... :)

My friend introduced me to it. He was talking about it a lot a long time ago, but I never did decide to look out for it. Until once, he had this book market special thing at my school and I found the Calvin and Hobbes Sunday Pages 1985-1995 book there (a 2001 tribute book to C & H). Anyway, I loved it, but even then, I had no idea how awesome it was. But now, I read the Complete Calvin and Hobbes, so I fully understand its ultimate awesomeness!

par lire my dad's set of C&H livres many years ago! Once I'd read the first couple of strips, I couldn't stop. :) I wound up getting the rest of the livres when I saw them for sale via a school book sale.

When my dad was a young adult, he would always read them. A few years ago, I always pondered upon a book in the bookshelf with a small, blonde boy and a tiger peeking out through all the other livres in the shelf. One day, I was lire the Sunday comics and in there was Calvin and Hobbes! I started to read them, then I asked my das if I could read the comics out of the book ;)

My dad brought accueil a box of items from an auction and one of the livres was Homicidal Psycho Jungle Cat. I read the first story where Hobbes tricks Calvin par écriture him the letters. I immediately got hooked, and since I wore out my original copy I had to get another one. I'm really glad I discovered it :)
