The more i know about twilight the more contemptuous i become. Usually even if something is not my cup of tea im not really critical but there is one huge thing that bugs me about twilight: THEY'RE NOT VAMPIRES!!! if your so called vamp can go into the sun without bursting into flames and has no fangs its not a damn vampire.

I wouldn't mind if they were just called supernatural or something and not specifically called vampires all the time. If you want to write a mystical being that barely has anything in common with a vampire do so, just dont call it a vampire. someone needs to explain to the auther what a vampire actually is. A pale kid without fangs who can go in the sun isnt a vamp he's an emo.

I agree with candrani about the non-vamps. It would be like me saying i was writing a book about werewolves who dont turn into wolves at the full moon or a mermaid who isnt half fish. I wouldnt be surprised if twilight had those too lol.

I'm so over Twilight!!!! Buffy's vampires are way, way better!

I read the first book, it was so lame. Written well, but Edward Cullen doesn't have any kind of personality, he's just "perfect". BORING. And yeah, I'd hardly call them vampires, for reasons above stated. And the plot is just normal highschool drama, nothing exciting about it.
