Is C/B in the books?

My sister didn't really know who they were. And she has read all the books. She didn't even know Chuck. Was Chuck and Blair relationship in the books? Was Chuck even in the books?
Is C/B in the books?

No, Blair and Nate were a big couple and Blair was with a few other characters, but Chuck and Blair were never together. Chuck was sort of a minor character and was pretty different from on the show.

They were indeed characters in the books. The livres revolve around Blair Waldorft mostly... Chuck's only in the livres because they all grew up together & his family is rich. Chuck had tried to sleep with Jenny & Serena (as seen on the TV series as well), but after that (like a dit above) there were suspicions that he was gay.
