Do bagel shops typically make their own cream cheese?

NO Typically they dont actually make their own cream cheese. What we do is buy the best cream cheese we can in blocks. Then we prepare the bought cream cheese.
Usually we will whip the cream cheese then enhance it with flavorings, such as scalions, vegetables, berrys, whatever we want. So the final answer is we dont make the actual cream, cheese we prepare it for serving.

There was a place whaere i live that got cream cheese from the store and put it in a mixer, table de mixage and made it creamier i have no idea waht they put in it but it was sooooo goooood. :)
