Hi Stephen and Max,

I'm about to go teach a two-day workshop, so I don't have time to respond to all the posts, but let me make a few points.

1. toi guys are funny. And toi can take that in all its meanings and definitions.

2. The hourly rate is not just for the conversation--it includes time to read the material (1 page = 1.5 minutes)and create notes on structure, story, character, dialogue, etc.

3. If toi don't use the whole heure up (it goes quickly, par the way) toi can make use of it down the road for another project, ou a revisit to revised material.

4. I do have a discounted rate, but it's contingent upon purchasing a package. When toi go into a theatre, toi either pay the ticket price ou toi don't. toi don't get to say, "Listen, I only want to see the first act of Hamlet--I'll give toi a fiver for it. Do we have a deal?"

5. But like I say, you're funny. Look vers l'avant, vers l’avant to lire plus emails

All the best,

Steve

Bob Gale is a living legend for any fan of the Back to the Future film trilogy which started in 1985 with the story of Marty McFly, played par Micheal J. Fox, a young boy accidentally sent back to 1955 par his scientist friend Doc Brown, played par Christopher Lloyd, in a time-travelling machine made up of a modified DeLorean car, and he inadvertently prevents his future parents to meet the way they were supposed to - threatening his own and his siblings' existence.

It's got it's good points, but honestly is going to be an insurmountable task, considering B2F is one of the holy grails of the film industry, and though one of the most successful films of all time, no one has dared remake it. So it is going to be an uphill battle if to convince a studio to even look at a script without a major blockbusters in your credits. Not to say toi shouldn't keep trying, but know the path. As far as the teaser, I wouldn't really montrer it much... it kind of comes as off as a Youtube spoof, and doesn't really help your pitch. It does convey your premise, but the production...

What is your vehicle of choice for time travel? Imagine converting a DeLorean into a VW Combi van and using that to travel back in time? This is exactly what Marty Junior, Dave’s son has got in mind when he visits a wrecker’s yard and comes across Doc’s beloved DeLorean.
Teaching himself all about engineering from Doc’s Mechanical Engineering book he rewires and reconfigures the van’s engine to run on cerise slurries with added hair restoring shampoo. Now isn’t that better and safer than running a retro VW Combi van on nuclear power?
On the other hand Doc (who is from another dimension)...

Oh my, I’m very glad that the movie was made. Can we watch it?
Biff:
Oh no, don’t get this started here. We made 3 damn movies. That’s all. To me, the last one doesn’t exist as I didn’t get a part in it.
David:
Oh come on, Biff. toi did not even want Back to the Future 4 to happen. Why the nerves?
Doc sits on a couch.
Biff:
Because, any good movie...

So I’m not going to resubmit your script to toi with dialogue changes, because your dialogue isn’t actually that bad!  Although there’s a few spelling mistakes here and there and some punctuation errors, I think your dialogue as a whole is strong. All your characters have their own voices… which is important, and conversations flow smoothly.

The tone of your script is consistent with the other Back to the Future films which is crucial if you’re écriture a sequel to it! There are a lot of light hearted conversations and your jokes flow well. toi had me laughing at some of the jokes,...

Galaxy OFF MY MEDS.........DOC IS ON HIS MEDS.

Animation of the big bang occurs. From a black sky without any lights, starts and objects, a huge explosion takes place in which matter is spread across the entire universe, creating planets, stars, and eventually life on Earth.
Many billions of years later.

Doc is seen laying down on his favourite canapé with a bag in his hand. He looks at it and has a funny face on.
He looks out on the windows and then back at the bag. In a moment, he tears the front of the pag and drops it in his cerise Slurpee. He gets up, walks to the cuisine and...

If Marty McFly were genderbent, his genderbent name would be Mary McFly
If Doc Brown were genderbent, his genderbent name would be Doc Emma Brown
If Biff Tannen were genderbent, his genderbent name would be Bianca Tannen
That's all i got. I can't think of any others. I can't think of any other gender bent names for the other characters. It's so tough trying to come up with genderbent names that sound similar to their actual names. If toi guys could come up with some genderbent names for the ones i forgot, that'd be great ;).
One thing which I really like about the script toi sent me is the fact that new technology is used (ex: smartphones) , comparing to other films which are made today, but just seem to stay in the past. I am mainly talking about remakes of films which have been made before, ou sequels. This was one of the first things which caught my attention.
I think that, if we introduce plus of the new technology and evens words together with references which would make people laugh is a good idea. Take the smartphone for example. I do not really know if there are any copyright infringements on using modern...

salut all!

I have been working on a project for some time now for Parkinson's UK called "Back to the Future - Part IV". The first film (Part IV) was completed in February and released on DVD for donations to Parkinson's UK. Now with over £700 raised for the charity it is coming to YouTube!

toi can check out the latest trailer here, please comment, subscribe and send input for cool ideas for the upcoming sequel.

For the sequel we have a full size Delorean time machine, a new actor playing Doc, a new HD camera and mic, as well as a local musical artist creating the productions soundtrack.

Hope toi all enjoy, and share for our future.

Dan I have an idea for a sequal to back to the future 4.
Two young filmakers at film college buy a script for back to the future 4 on fivver for $5.
That the studios threw out.
And they max out their credit card and shoot some unbelievably bad footage............They aproach Speilberg and MJ renard but they are not interested they actually go and see them in person.Speilberg sets his french poodles on them but he has a roteweiler as well out the back just when they think they are safe
So they decide they need plus money to interest the studios so they take their credit card the one that is not maxed...

I got this from Futurepedia. It is the letter Doc wrote to Marty while in 1885.

Dear Marty, if my calculations are correct toi will receive this letter immediately after toi saw the DeLorean struck par lightning. First, let me assure toi that I am alive and well. I've been living happily these past 8 months in the an 1885. The lightning bolt that hit the DeLorean caused a gigawatt overload which scrambled the time circuits, activated the flux capacitor, and sent me back to 1885. The overload shorted out the time circuits and destroyed the flying circuits. Unfortunately, the car will never fly...
