I don't know about you, but I don't want to watch an awesome horror flick and be busy reading subtitles :) Although I really don't mind it....just saying..

Even though I'm not a fan of remakes generally (and subtitles don't bother me), I had to go with no. Sure, a lot of the remakes downright suck, but every once in a while they do a good one like The Ring or The Grudge. I love the American versions of both of those.

hey, there may be some bad remade flicks, but hey, just don't watch them, and when a good version comes along then see it!

I feel the issue is that the american versions add very little to the equation besides the fact that you "don't have to read". Besides once you actually watch a few foreign films seeing both the subtitle and the picture at once becomes second nature.

I'm not trying to be a racist or anything, but please Americans, get some creativity of your own! Stop stealing the real good stuff from Asia! They worked hard coming up with such ideas you know, and some stuff from the movies can't even be found in the west!! :(

yup they should stop making remake.
