Yaoi? Yuri?

I hate yaoi with all my life! I don't really mind yuri THAT much, but I hate it as well. Because it all doesn't have any emotion. Just sex and.. stuff like that. I can be wrong of course since I don't know much about it, but in my opinion yaoi ou yuri doesn't have any romance and emotion storyline. It's quick sex. And I really hate it.

Also because it's disguising! I understand it's normal, but it really makes me sick. I'm not against gays ou lesbiennes but I would really appreciate if Google wouldn't drop me these kind of pictures.

When I'd like to hear some good romance stories, see people posting some touching and beautiful romance picture I always have to see most of them post a GuyxGuy pictures.

There's one animé guy I REALLY like. It's Deidara from Naruto. And I just HATE it when some retards say he looks like a girl. They simply can't tell the difference between a male and a female! They need to buy some f***ing glasses! And because of that half of them pairs him up with another guy from this anime, Sasori! And I just can't stand it anymore!

If yaoi never existed, if people wouldn't have such thoughts about it... I can only imagine how heavenly it would be.

I really respect people for what they are, I really wouldn't care if my friend was a gay, lesbian ou bisexual I would still enjoy his/her company and be great friends! But this is a different thing. I don't like seeing guys making out. But I can't change anything... I just have to either accept it as it is ou don't look for pictures in Google ou anywhere at all.

Also I just want to say that if toi have a right to tell how much toi l’amour yaoi, we have a right to tell how much we hate it as well! So no fighting please.

I like and dislike both, actually.

The reason why I like yaoi and Yuri is going to sound really cheesy and illogical, but in my opinion, Gay and Lesbian pairings are able to feel and express what we call "True love".
par that I mean that they don't l’amour each other just for sex and continuation of our kind; they l’amour each other for the person, and their feelings are plus pure and powerful. It just feels nice to draw, read and/or look at pictures of 2 men/women who are 'bonded par love' (now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to throw up rainbows and butterflies)..Although I am aware that not every relationship is like that, homosexual ou not.

Now, the reason I DON'T like yaoi and Yuri is that it's everywhere. People shove it into every single conversation, website etc. etc. and it's just so frustrating trying to look for pictures of your favori character and finding pictures of him/her fucking (pardon me) another character of the same sex instead. Sometimes it even sickens me.

I think the fact people like Yuri plus is that GirlxGirl pairings are for some reason plus acceptable in our nowadays society. People seem to find BoyxBoy couples repulsive, weird, wrong..You name it.
I don't see the reason why though. l’amour is not illegal.

And about the reason why so many people hate Yaoi/Yuri; I really don't wish to offend anyone, but I am pretty sure religion has something to do with it..Not ONLY religion, but it's probably one of the reasons.
I am Catholic myself, but I change the rules a little whenever I feel like they are going heavily against my own views. I still cherish religion, but I don't let it mess up with my own opinions.
Also, there's this thing called "Harassing Canon characters". People mostly use existing characters and pair them up with each other, what seems to annoy a hell lot of people out there. Including myself.

i would have to agree with some people (@vocaloidcode01) its against my religion. plus for me i just dont like the idea of guyXguy and girlXgirl. it kinda makes me sick. but thats just me. as for why do people like it? i have no idea.

I do think it is mostly about the whole "is homosexuality wrong" debate.

I personally have no problem with it, as long as it's because they l’amour each other. I don't think it should matter whether l’amour is between two guys ou two girls ou a guy and a girl. l’amour is love. I think homophobia is a form of hatred. I, personally, choose l’amour over hatred.
Now, I don't like when shows only include it because they think it's hot, and they want to attract people out of the hotness of it. I think that's insulting. But if two characters are truly in l’amour with each other, why should it matter?
Of course, for a lot of people, it's a religious thing, which I really can't say much about. But then there are people who just think it's "gross" ou "wrong" ou "unnatural". It's really quite sickening that some people are like that.

Well I can't exactly explain it. I'm not much in to yaoi ou yuri but I do dabble in it a little, I don't know if it's out of curiosity ou what, but...yeah...

i don't know why but i like yaoi, i mean its adorable sometimes when its not dirty to the extent. also l’amour has no boundries.

I like both. I enjoy romance stories, and I don't care if the couples are maleXfemale, maleXmale, ou femaleXfemale. I suppose toi can say that I look beyond the physical organs/appearances and instead, look at the personality of the characters and how well they fit together. Everyone deserves to be happy, right?

And, the stories I have seen do not deal with only sex. No, most of the time it is just pure romance. Not Hentai ou anything like that. I'm all up for a beautiful, fluffy story with some drama. In my opinion, it shouldn't matter what I'm into, as a person. It's just a story.

For the people that always ask me "Eww why toi like watching two girls/guys, that means your gay" So based on their logic, if I like watching a montrer about a serial killer, psycho, ou a terrorist, that means I'm all of those? No, it does not. I have an open mind so I am able to enjoy things like this.

And for people that say "YURI IS BETTER, HERPDERP" ou things like "YAOI R BETTER, DUH" No, these are obviously all opinionated. Nothing can be 'better' than anything else when it's all about the individuals opinion. That's like saying baseball is better than football just because I prefer it plus than the other.

Basically, I like yaoi and yuri because they are the same as any other romance story. Only their body parts are different, and the plots. Either way, l’amour is love. That is what I believe, and I don't pay attention to the ignorant ou closed minded people that try to stop me from loving what I love. Heterosexual pairings aren't the only entertaining pairs, and I like to mix it up a bit.

Oh and, the reason I am into yaoi plus is because I really enjoy bishounens. Can't live with my bishies. It's funny because I've seen plus shoujo-ai series than shounen-ai. Oh well. That was my 2 cents.

I hav nothing against homosexuals. I mean if toi think about it there isn't much difference between a male and a female. So I believe that homosexuals are people who have convinced themselves that they are attracted to the same sex.
But then again...... what do I know?

I've never been in love, and I don't expect to fall in l’amour anytime soon.
So I have no right to judge others on how they feel. I can't be them, only myself. As for myself, I personally don't like it.

I dont really care too much but one thing i dont like about yaoi/yuri is people are trying to make me look at really really weird pictures of it (get what i mean) and it is very annoying. I like both since I'm bi. I don't care what the people who's relgious say bout that, because sometimes yaoi and yuri sometimes montrer plus then just sex scenes. They montrer l’amour to each other. l’amour isn't illegal, people sometimes forget bout that fact when they criterize homosexuality.

If anyone disagree bout that, what do toi see when toi look up yaoi ou yuri? Hard shit like toi say? Do toi know toi can choose not to look yaoi ou yuri? Looking up yaoi ou yuri is optional, not a damn law that toi have to see ou toi lose something important. But this is after all my opinion.

I'm honestly a fan of both, and I like both of them because it technically proves to me that it doesn't matter what gender toi are when it comes to l’amour that and I think its hot.

I think people dislike it because of the fact that its a bit awkward. A lot of people I know that dislike it they don't like it cause they think its wrong to be with someone of the same gender.

Reason being, I'm not into the whole "Guy on Guy" thing. But at the same time, If two men want to l’amour each other, then that's their business, ya know. Who are we to say what's right, and what's wrong? As long as they keep there sexual acts in the bedroom, away from me, I'm happy. As for the whole s’embrasser in public debate, I reckon they should be allowed too. If toi don't like what toi see, simply don't look at all, easy as that.


One thing I want to point out, however, Is the fact that seing two people of the same sex in real life embrace, Is alot different than seing two animé characters of the same sex embrace. (Still talking about Man on Man) I can actually watch two animé characters, both being male, kiss. I think that mainly, It's because male animes are made to look alot plus Feminine. Thus, making It seem alot cuter, lol.


As for Yuri, l’amour It. Being a male I have no objections too It. For those males out there that like yuri, but are completely against yaoi. Remember that If It's ok for females to be into other females, why Is'nt It ok for males to like males. Ying, and Yang. ^_^

toi know, i'm really into yaoi but not into YURI- so i wanna find out about it more. may be i'm a girl and that's why it's yaoi but still... the great point is, that-mmm ... one of the réponses below says, that yaoi ou yuri bare lewd and are all about sex and staff but i won't agree! toi know, there are lots of animé and manga yaoi and YURI and also i'm quite into that lewd part as well, but i l’amour that great romantic side of it, cos usually the characters have to defeat themselves and change completely for the person they are in l’amour with - despite their gender ou sex! and it's really interesting how they go through that story !..

About YURI, i'm not so sure why people don't mind it plus than YAOI, but i think, it's may be because girls are much plus "sweeter" and "cuter" than boys and YURI is plus light in that SEX part (cos there is nothing to put into LOL)

If it's true love, I totally support it! As long as it doesn't revolve around sex, I have no problem with that! I only ship like three yuri pairs and one yaoi though~

I think in the animé community people totally disrespect what homosexuality really is. animé uses it for only 'sexy' reasons. They never montrer that it is no different then any heterosexual pairing/couple. They make fun of it in a way. This is the one thing I'm really not okay with about Anime. The Yuri, Yaoi, Shounen-Ai, and Shoujo-Ai genres.... just really give people a bad message. It either will make people think homosexuality is disgusting ou make people think it isjust about the same sex doing it for your pleasure.

The way the people above are talking about it, toi know really makes me sad and even sick. Just talking about it like homosexuality is just simply porn. No duh you'd find that disgusting, I don't want to watch any gender doing it.

But the world is getting better, so I hope the youth of tomorrow will stop seeing it like that. That we stop jouer la comédie like toi should only be with someone to make children. Some hetero couples don't ever create life. l’amour is love, it is a partnership. It isn't about pleasure ou sex. It can have it in the relationship, but it shouldn't be what really matters. Two people of the same sex isn't going to screw that up. The human race will still go on. It isn't a choice, just like heterosexuality isn't a choice.

So no, I don't like it. I am a queer shipper, I support every type of sexuality there is. Be it from homosexual, heterosexual, bisexual, ou asexual.

Most of my favori ships I support end up being from a queer pairing. But the way animé shows it....no...not okay with it.
