Upsetting animé couples??

Has there ever been a canon animé couple that made toi want to scream and/or bang your head on something? I'm mainly talking about pairings that catch toi off guard, but this can include any (canon!) couple.

My example: Riiko and Night from Absolute Boyfriend. I wanted Riiko to end up with Soshi. (Gaaah I wanna use Kataang so bad, but they're not from anime). X(

no...if toi watch the disapearance of haruhi suzumiya(movie) toi will see that is kyon x haruhi! because he say(in the movie that he can't live without haruhi and he say that the life is much fun with haruhi! and another example is at the end when kyon touch haruhi lips and her eyes when she sleep!

For me it's Ichihime... Well it hasn't really been announced canon, but I just can't stand that couple, but that is mainly because I don't like Orihime at all. She is annoying, and I really hope she doesn't end up with ichigo... I prefer Ichiruki with a passion. In fact, I'm not even gonna post an Ichihime picture. Ichiruki FTW!!

Also, I'm not a big fan of Akihisa/Mizuki in Baka and Test, I much prefer Akihisa with Minami.
And I don't like the pairing of Haruhi/Hikaru in Ouran, either.

Himeno x Hayate. Lots of people who know Pretear will argue on this one, but, personally, I like Himeno x Kei better...
Kyon x Haruhi. I DESPISE this couple! Kyon x Yuki is so much better!
Edward x Winry. I don't necessarily HATE this couple, but it's not my favorite. I just don't see any suitable pairings for Ed, but, if no other choices remain, I'm okay with EdWin.
Tamaki x Haruhi. I really think Kyoya fits Haruhi plus than Tamaki. Kyoya and Haruhi have much plus in common, while Tamaki is plus of a pest to Haruhi than a lover.
Tomoya x Nagisa. People are going to MURDER me for this, but I like Tomoya x Kyou a bit more. Sorry, guys, it's my honest opinion.
Ranma x Akane. It's God-awful. Somebody put Ranma with Ukyo and Akane with Ryoga!
