I highly reccomend Chaos;Head. Chaos;Head is a very good Supernatural animé in which a man that has many delusions and meets a girl who apparently knows him but he's never seen her before, everyone else says that they've been Friends forever also. Events eventully lead up to major crisis, earthquakes, and death. The animé May be innapropriate for people who don't like this type of anime.

Ga-Rei: Zero It's only 12 episodes long but it sounds like something you're looking for. Here's the summary:

The Japanese Ministry of Defense has an anti-paranormal special forces group called the Paranormal Disaster Countermeasure Headquarters. They're the ones responsible to protect Japanese soil and its people from Supernatural and paranormal events. However, things didn't go so well in one of their missions, which leads to intervention par the Ministry of Enviroment's Supernatural Disaster Countermeasures Division after the PDCH has sustained large numbers of casualties battling demons.

This is actually the prequel to Ga-Rei and I really enjoyed it. I've never actually seen Ga-Rei after I watched Ga-Rei: Zero because of what happens in Ga-Rei: Zero makes me reluctant to.

Not a very known anime, but a very well done one. It's about a boy who, after an accidents, begins seeing ghosts. And, almost against his will, helps them solve their final questions before they depart.

xxxHolic is a wonderful one...it's really creative and definitely one of my favorites. Great series for people who l’amour the supernatural, but aren't necessarily into horror/gore.

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a very good one. It has humor, drama and Supernatural forces. There are aliens, time travelers and espers, and the main character is a different type of Supernatural without knowing it (what she is is debated throughout the anime). It's amazing. I highly recommend it.

Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni ou Umineko No Naku Koro Ni. Higurashi is plus horror, Umineko is plus murder mystery. But they both involve mysteries about weird and unusual events. Haruhi maybe????? i don't like Haruhi too much, though :PPPPP i wouldn't really recommend it but......people seem to like it.

They battle demon type things called Akuma and they use their Innocence(special power) to destroy the Akuma. Inuyasha & Inuyasha: The Final Act. They are demons and Priesstess with spritual powers used to destroy demons. Vampire Knight. A school full of humans and Vampires. vampires go to the night class a Crss Acadmey and the humans go to the jour class. Bleach. Shinigami(death god) ou Soul Reapers have special powers and weapons called Zanpakuto used to destroy Hollows(demons that feast on Lost souls) Only Soul Reapers can see the Hollows. Pokemon. People catch wild Pokemon(Creatures in all shapes and sizes with special powers) and train them to battle with other Pokemon Trainers. Bakugan. Bakugan(monsters) when not fighting are in a little ball and when a Trainer fights other trainers they come out and grow huge in size and battle other Bakugan using special cards. I think I've got plus but I can't remember at the moment.

Tactics is really good.

I have to agree with all the animé i've seen listed so far but how in the world has Natsume Yuujinchou not be listed! Everything from the music, the story line, the characters, and the art is AMAZING. This animé has become my all time favorite.

The main character Natsume has always been able to see spritis but because of his ability he has had a rough childhood often being called a liar, an attention seeker, and/or crazy. And both of his parents died when he was young, leaving him being passed around from family to family. Because of this, he has a tough time knowing who he can trust.

In this anime, we take a journey with him to find out what true l’amour and friendship is. We see him develop as a character and form bonds that will never be broken.

Dusk maiden of amnesia is a good one. Its partialy a l’amour story partly the story of how one of the main characters dies. The story will take toi through the blackest parts of the himan condition like fear hate despair loneliness and divisé, split personality disorder. Saying that its not all dark it has its funny parts too.

I know this animé has been a dit already in answer to this question, but it's so good, it deserves to be posté again.

Yu Yu Hakusho! The characters are great - the whole animé is kind of like a mini Naruto, hence it being my seconde favourite animé of all time. :D Its the one in the picture.

Also, Natsume Yuujinchou - my third favourite anime. It's a nice, relaxing animé to watch; it's so beautiful and heartwarming, though I'm not sure that's what you're looking for...

"Gegege no Kitaro." "Gegege no Kitaro" was a manga created in 1959 par artist Shigeru Mizuki. Beside his mostly-decayed father, Kitaro is the last of his kind - The Ghost Tribe (幽霊族, yūrei zoku).

His macabre beginning is when his mother died when he was still in her, but he manged to be born and crawled out of the grave. His father, not wanting his son to be alone came back as one of his eyes and known as " Medama-Oyaji." He fights for peace between humans and yokai, which generally involves protecting the former from the wiles of the latter. Kitaro and his father are accompanied par Nezumi-Otoko (Rat-Man) and Neko-Musume (Cat-Girl).

Kitaro became an animé series in 1968 and four other animé versions were made as well - 1971, 1985, 1996 and 2007.

It's about this girl who got Lost in the woods when she was a child and after getting rescued par an old lady gained the ability to see ghosts. One jour in her teenage years this boy who has special powers similar to a grim reaper's turns up in her class. Together they go on special journeys involving demons and helping dead people get to the spirit world so they can be reincarnated as something else. It's really good and I highly recommend it.
