Vladimir: She certainly has a mind of her own.
Dimitri: Yeah. I hate that in a woman.

Dowager Empress Marie: toi were the boy, weren't toi - the servant boy who got us out? toi saved her life and mine and toi restored her to me. Yet toi want no reward.
Dimitri: Not anymore.
Dowager Empress Marie: Why the change of mind?
Dimitri: It was plus a change of heart. I must go.

Anastasia: Men are such babies.

Hi guys, remember in my review that I wrote on how I was disappointed about how Anastasia ended in the movie version? So, here are my ideas on how the movie should had ended.

1. They stay with Anya's Grandmother

Anya and Dimitri ask the Dowager Empress for their hands in marriage and their personal blessings before going onto their holiday, they would come back to Paris to settle with the reward money/ Anya's money, buy an apartment near where Anya's grandmother lives and settle down there.
The Dowager Empress will promote Dmitri as Prince Consort for finding Anastasia. Something that Dmitri...

Since Anastasia is going to be a musical this an and what I'm going to write for my expectations for the musical version, so are toi ready?

The Cast

Although that I don't know the cast themselves as they are newcomers, but I wish them luck for the premiere of the musical! I just hope that the main protagonists capture the same magic as their movie counterparts!

The Songs

I was very happy all of the songs are going to be in the musical, I also hope that the song At the Beginning will be in it as well as it only sang on the movie credit. It will definitely be a great duet between Dmitri and Anastasia!...

toi were born in a palace par the sea.

A palace par the sea?
Could it be?

Yes, that's right.

You rode horseback when toi were only three.

Horseback riding?
Me?

And the horse

He was white!

You made faces and terrorized the cook!

Threw him in the brook!

Was I wild?

Wrote the book!

But you'd behave when your father gave that look!

Imagine how it was!

Your long-forgotten past!

We've lots and lots to teach toi and the time is going fast!

All right...I'm ready!

Now, shoulders back and stand up tall

And do not walk, but try to float.

I feel a little foolish.
Am I floating?

Like a little boat!

You give a bow.

What happens...

Heart, don't fail me now!
Courage, don't desert me!
Don't turn back now that we're here.

People always say
Life is full of choices.
No one ever mentions fear!

ou how the world can seem so vast

On a journey ... to the past.

Somewhere down this road
I know someone's waiting
Years of dreams just can't be wrong!

Arms will open wide.
I'll be sûr, sans danger and wanted
Fin'lly accueil where I belong.

Well, starting now, I'm learning fast

On this journey to the past

Home, Love, Family.
There was once a time
I must have had them, too.

Home, Love, Family,
I will never be complete
Until I find you...

One step at a time,
One hope, then another,
Who knows where this road may go

Back to who I was,
On to find my future.
Things my cœur, coeur still needs to know.

Yes, let this be a sign!

Let this road be mine!

Let it lead me to my past

And bring me home...

At last! (Hold)
I am an history/ animation movie freak. I am so passionnate about this that I decided to share it with other fans. First, I must apologize for all the mistakes I will probably make ( I am not a good writer, sorry!).

I will tell toi some interesting facts about the last Tsar (Nicolas II ou Anastasia father).

The real tsar picture that we can actually see at the beginning of the movie on the grand-mother desk.
The real tsar picture that we can actually see at the beginning of the movie on the grand-mother desk.

He is the son of Alexander III and Maria feodorovna and was born in 1868. So, in the beginning of the movie, he was 48 years old.

By the family of his mother (both mother were sisters)...

We were strangers
Starting out on a journey
Never dreaming
What we'd have to go through
Now here we are
And I'm suddenly standing
At the beginning with you

No one told me
I was going to find you
Unexpected
What toi did to my heart
When I Lost hope
You were there to remind me
This is the start

And Life is a road and I want to keep going
Love is a river i wanna keep flowing
Life is a road now and forever
Wonderful journey

I'll be there when the world stops turning
I'll be there when the storm is through
In the end I wanna be standing
At the beginning with you

On a crazy adventure

As toi can see in the first picture, The movie began in 1916 with a great ball.

The problem about it, is that, in reality, this ball occurred in 1903. It was a fancy-dress ball where the guesses had to wear traditional russian aristocratic costume (and, no, the Russians didn't always wear those clothes!).

 The ball in the movie

St. Petersburg is gloomy!

St. Petersburg is bleak!

My underwear got La Reine des Neiges standing here all week!

Oh, since the revolution our lives have been so gray!

Thank goodness for the gossip that gets us through the day!

Hey!

Have toi heard
There's a rumor in St. Petersburg?
Have toi heard
What they're saying on the street?

Although the Czar did not survive,
One daughter may be still alive!

The Princess Anastasia!

But please do not repeat!

It's a rumor,
A legend,
A mystery!
Something whispered in an alleyway
Or through a crack!
It's a rumor
That's part of our history.

Well, it seems that I had never done this movie review before. So, what I am going to write is a review on my favourite Don Bluth's animated feature, Anastasia!

The Story

When I first watch this movie, I was really amazed to find out that the story is based on a true story about the Russian Grand Duchess name Anastasia Romanov, who along with her family was killed par the Bolsheviks in Yekaterinburg, Russia sadly.
Rumours had it that she survived the massacre, and a famous impostor name Anna Anderson would later claimed to be her. Unfortunately, her DNA did not match to UK's Prince Philip's...

Okay, I will warn you, this is my opinion. Anastasia, to me, was a typical princessy story loosely based on a real person and that ends happily. basically the same thing as Disney's Pocahontas, but Pocahontas doesn't have a happy ending. Anastasia isn't a terrible movie, but it isn't the type of movie that I enjoy. I mean, the animation was gorgeous for an American artist but something about the story makes me unhappy. That is strange, I know but I like a movie with a not so happy ending. I have to say, this is my least favori animated movie so far. I don't like films that end happily.

There...
