The sire bond creates loyalty not feelings. JP a dit that Elena already had feelings for Damon, it didn't make them. But it does make her have to do what he says. He didn't tell her to l’amour him, to break up with Stefan, to Kiss him back, and she was the instigator for sex. She still has her free will on her emotions. And once Damon is aware of the sire bond, toi can bet he'll be plus careful about what he tells her to do from now on because he doesn't want to force anything on her.
