((OOC)) Okay, I got REALLY bored so i started this on my iPad, and i ended up finishing it 5 minutes ago.. (I have no life) So, yeah... this might explain a few things about Mercy....
I guess toi could say my life was completely and utterly over. I was stuck between a rock and a hard place; with nowhere to go. Jacob had practically forced me to betray my team, my best friends. If I refused, he was going to kill them. If I told them, he would kill them, and then me. Probably, if I told them anyways, they would say that they could take him. They would say that they would take him down. But they can't. They could never defeat him. No one can, and no one will.
So sitting here, in this room filled with some of the worst villains and convicts in teenage history, my life is practically over. Heather, who happens to be sitting suivant to me at the current moment gives me a sharp jab into my ribs. "Merc! Pay attention!" she hissed. Of course that jab made me lose my focus even more, because of the récent fracturing of 2 ribs maybe just a week ago.
"Heather? What are we doing here anyways? We don't belong here! I'm a some-what hero and toi are a solo ....uh.... Delinquent! What are we doing here?" I bit my lip, thats what I do whenever I'm nervous. Heather just smirked and slunk back into her seat. "I'm here to keep toi out of trouble, dumb-butt!" of course, I knew that wasn't true. She had been eying and flirting with a bunch of the guys here. "Hea- Viper... Why does Jacob have us here? Do toi know if he's planning something bigger than just stealing information and blueprints?" Heather just frowned and glanced at Jacob, "If I know anything about my brother, it's that he always has something up his sleeve."
There was a moment of silence between the both of us. The silence, though, was quickly broken when Jacob stood up with a jolt, "Listen!" his face was red and anger flared in his eyes at the old man staring at him in fear suivant to him, "This is MY operation, and toi will do what I say!" his eyes started to glow a dim green. This wasn't looking good. Whenever Jake got mad, he meant it. The small man, probably in his 50's started to beg him, "o-okay! Forget my idea! We-We'll do it yo-" before he could even Finnish he flew back into the wall, groaning and whimpering in fear. I had to do something. Jacob smirked and started to walk back over to the small man. Heather was going to kill me for this, but on instinct I ran over and grabbed Jake's arm just as he raised it to do who knows what. "Jacob David Till!" I scolded him. He just glared at me. "Please, leave the poor guy alone!" I attempted to give a small reassuring smile to the man on the ground, whose associates seemed to be helping him up now. "Bella, toi shut up right now." Jacob a dit with a slightly calmer tone. Before I could say anything plus he lifted a glowing blade and swiped at my left cheek, which obviously sent me taking a few steps back clutching my burning cheek.
Heather rushed over to me, sending a death glare to Jacob in the process. "Com'on Mercy, let's get toi home." she gently put her hand on my shoulder. I just stood there, stunned. Slowly but surely, she started to guide me out, step par step.
Once we finally got outside she spoke. "Sorry he did that to ya." She mumbled with her head focused on the sidewalk. "I've handled worse. But what am I going to tell the team?" I managed to whisper to her. "Tell them that toi got into a little argument. Blame it on me, if toi have to." She tried to make it sound as if it was that simple. But it wasn't. Lying to your Friends on a daily basis to cover up something that was saving their lives wasn't that simple.
Finally reaching my new apartment, one floor down from Heathers, I was starting to close the door. "Heather, this is a really stupid question, but can toi come and find me tomorrow, and give me an update on how that man is doing? I know he's an international drug dealer and all that fun stuff, but just find out how he is?" Heather attempted a smile, "No problem, Merc." I smiled an closed the door with a sigh. Another long day. Quickly I changed from my Nova outfit back to being Mercy. Now all that was left on my to-do liste was that I had to find the team and see how their jour was. Great....
