I looked around making sure no one was there. I grabbed my failed signs and posté them up, pointing to the beach. All night I had worked on my plan with the help of Ice, the justice league member. I grabbed my parka and waited outside with my skates on. I skated down the path and to the now ice covered clearing. The display I set up was still there. I skated around the rink. Finally, I heard them coming. I stopped and waited in the middle. They all skated in and gasped. My display was a picture carved into a block of ice of everyone on the team Black Canary, Red Tornado and Batman.
“Alex, did toi do all this for us?” Kalder asked
“No. I did all this so I would have a place to skate. Of course I did!” I added when I saw their shock. After a million hugs, we all skated around the rink. I noticed Robin epically failing, so I went to help him.
“I didn’t know the Boy Wonder couldn’t skate” I mused
“I can skate” he said. He fell a couple secondes later, contradicting himself.
“Do toi need some help?” I offered
“*sigh* Yes” Robin sighed. I helped him up and took him down the path. I grabbed my mace and held sideways so Robin could grab onto something. He looked at it with a suspicious face on.
“Grab my mace already” I insisted
“Why?” he asked
“So toi have something to balance yourself” I explained
“But what if I accidentally hit the electrocute button and electrocute myself?” he demanded
“Fine! Then take my hands” I ordered, putting my mace away. He grabbed both my hands.
“Okay. Have toi ever skated before in your life?” I asked
“Yeah. Watch!” He skated about two steps, then Lost his balance and fell.
“This is going to be a long day” I muttered as I skated over and helped him up.
“Let’s start with the basics. Pushing on one foot. Keep one foot on the ice and push with the other. Slowly!” I instructed. After three hours of training, Robin finally got the hang of balance. We were skating back, him still holding my hand for balance when the back of my blade got caught under the ice and I fell back, bringing Robin with me. I looked up and saw Robin’s face almost an inch away from mine. My face turned red. I cleared my throat. He got up as quickly as he could on the ice. I easily stood up and helped him regain his balance.
“I thought toi a dit toi never fall” Robin mused
“The ice caught my blade and tripped me” I defended myself
“Mhm. Of course that’s what happened” He a dit sarcastically
“It is!” I exclaimed. He laughed as I skated away in a huff.
