Several hours later, the trio stepped out of the airport and into South America, specifically, Rio. Without hesitation, Richi set off for the nearest hotel to set up camp, but as he took his first couple steps, one of the girls spoke.
"R-Richi?" The voice a dit shyly. It was the violet-haired girl's voice. "W-why are we in Rio?" He stopped and turned to look at her, his eyes softening for the girl's sake.
"I'm going to go find a couple Friends hiding out here. toi guys are going to the hotel while I'm out. My problems aren't your business, so toi have no reason to follow me." At this, the other teen,decided to speak up. "Uh, I don't think so. We've been staying in hotels for 3 weeks now. We wanna see the world, too." Richi looked at the other girl, who hesitantly nodded, looking as if she might have to run for life at any moment. He sighed, since the odds were two to one.
"Fine." With that, he turned around once plus and jumped onto one of the passing cars. While the girls copied his action, Richi took out a small mirror from his pocket and looked into it. The reflection changed, and through the mirror he could see through the eyes of one of the Shades that planted itself on Silver. The image changed, and he saw the entire area surrounding the house that Silver was at. It didn't seem help much, but it was something to go on. The car began slowing down at a red light, so Richi was forced to jump to another car passing par in order to keep moving.
When the car got close enough to a neighborhood, he jumped off the car and onto the roof of a house. secondes later, he heard two other thumps behind him, and he knew the girls had caught up. Richi looked at the sky and saw the sun slowly setting, and took the mirror out again. He viewed the area once more, but he couldn't make head nor tails of where this location was, nor could he ever hope to find out where he was. Then a thought came to his head, and he nearly facepalmed himself in realizing his stupidity. Richi handed the mirror to the violet-haired girl and asked, "Can toi tell where we are using this?" The violet-haired girl took the mirror and studied the image for several minutes. Handing the mirror back, she answered without stuttering, "We're about 20 miles south of this area." Pointing to her left, she told him "We need to go that way."
Grinning for the first time in weeks, he pocketed the mirror and leaped off, jumping from roof to roof in the direction the violet-haired girl had pointed towards. The girls followed with ease, and in no time at all, they had covered the twenty miles. par now, the moon was well into the air, and Richi and the girls rested in a tall arbre suivant to the house. Through a skylight, they could see Aryess lying down in a hammock, staring at the stars. With the brunette's help, they listened in on Silver's conversation purely out of boredom, and could see everything. After a couple of minutes, they saw Alek enter their room, then Nic. Overhearing the things they missed, the girls felt bad about listening in. Richi, however, couldn't care less, as he has something else on his mind. A while later, the two boys left the room, and the trio could hear the girls settling down for sleep. minutes later, all they could hear was breathing. They waited another 2 hours, each entertaining themselves in some way.
Finally, Richi grabbed the two girls par the backs of their shirts, and pushed them both off the branch, letting them drag him with them. As they neared the skylight, Richi channeled his powers into the two surprised girls, and as they fell closer to the roof, their bodies melted into apparitions. They fell through the skylight without a sound, and Richi landed on his feet on the floor of the room. The violet-haired girl also landed on her feet, as if she had done it all her life. The brunette didn't fare as well as the other two teens, and landed face-flat. Letting go of the two teens, Richi shut off his powers, and they all became solid once more. The violet-haired girl silently smoothed out her clothes and straightened her eye-patch. The brunette got up soon after, silently cursing at Richi and muttering something. The trio could hear the two girls in the hammock quietly breathing.
He felt bad, but knew there was nothing else he could do. In a loud voice, he a dit to the sleeping teens, "Surprise."
