New series, takes place two years into the future. link. Enjoy!
Hope toi enjoy!
Jacob was a drug dealer. He worked late nights in Trinity, out in the open. No one stopped him; the police force was corrupted, and the Heroes of the League were always too busy to pay any attention to this city. So he went about his business .
Tonight, however, something seemed different. He could feel someone watching him as he walked home. But whenever he turned, there was no one, no one at all. Shaking his head, he continued on. If toi studied him, toi could see how managed to déplacer a little plus quickly this time.
This continued on for a week ou so. One night, however, when he was less than a quarter away from his home, he turned once plus out of what had become habit. His eyes widened when he saw a glint of a silver blade on the ground. A divisé, split seconde later, and the couteau ignited into sudden flame. Dropping the bravado, he turned and sprinted towards home, not looking back again.
He never made it to the front door.
The suivant morning, policemen found Jacob in a jail cell, handcuffed, with a piece of tape on his mouth. They wondered to themselves who among them had done it. All guesses were put to rest when a mysterious note, handwritten, appeared, and suddenly the crime rate was becoming diminished due to a step up in the force. In less than a week, the once empty cells were filled with common bank robbers and drug dealers, and in a few plus days, some murderers as well.
And the ones they couldn’t catch, the heads of the drug cartels and the owners of the brothels; those ones were found on the streets, wrapped in wires and handcuffed. suivant to each one they found a few ashes and a or feather. They didn’t know how it had happened, but the innocents and the police of Trinity were sure.
There was a hero watching over them.

Trinity wasn’t much to deal with. The highest low lifes she’d found were nothing compared to the Joker, ou Luthor. Bludhaven had worse criminals in that city. But someone had already claimed that one, so she’d settled with the suivant best thing.
And, over time, she supposed that if someone was insanely smart enough, they’d become a match for her. Perhaps a couple of old Friends would visit her, and she wouldn’t just have a rival, she’d have a complete opposite. A true ‘nemesis.’
She knew for a fact that each hero in the Justice League had a nemesis. Not that she wanted to be part of the League. That was the last thing on her ‘to-do’ list...
Right after bringing peace to the entire world, and apologizing to someone she’d never apologize to.
She layed back on the bed, stripping off her tight boots and rubbing the callouses of her feet. She felt her hair in her eyes, and she allowed a small smile to grace her lips.
“So this is what it feels like. To be on your own...” Kyra stretched out, returned her eyes to their natural blue color, and changed into pajamas. Then she curled up under the covers and started scrolling through the songs on her iPod as if she hadn’t just taken on the responsibility of her own city.
Hope toi enjoy!
