Because I think she is an Anastasia story. She claims to be a princess but her messy hair and peasent dress don't really scream princess. The Horned King mistook her for a scullary maid. I think and this is just my imagination Aurora and Phillip's daughter. Maybe she got lost or whatever. Though Melody would be interesting since she has a big family.

Haven't seen Anastasia, but I guess Eilonwy would be a perfect Anastasia, but Melody suits as Anastasia just as perfect.
