Am I the only one who feels that the soundtracks highly influence the quality of the movie?

I feel like they affect it for sure, but I'm usually too busy paying attention to the movie to notice the background music.

No you're not, I feel the same way. The musique in the back ground sort of give toi the hint of what will happen in a few secondes and etc. But toi are defiantly not only man!!!!

musique has always been a big contributor to the whole cinema experience ever since the silent era. The right ou wrong musique changes the whole tone of a piece and this is why I believe that movie composers really deserve plus credit than they get. There are a few plus "household" names like John Williams and Danny Elfman but so many go unknown. Like the guy who composed the musique the musique for Pan's Labyrinth, ou the guy who composed the musique for The Red Shoes, ou the musique for Grave of the Fireflies, ou Spirited Away. I had to look up all those guys and I absolutely loved those films and their scores! But people can only remember so many names and if toi want the composer to get recognition go watch musicals. Even though those have the opposite problem of the composers get too much credit. Seriously Andrew Lloyd Webber is one of the most well known musical composers and all his shows are "Andrew Lloyd Webber's ____" and that guy doesn't even write his own lyrics!

Yes. Interestingly enough, the quality of the soundtracks (in my opinion) actually follow my opinions of the qualities of the movies. The worse the soundtrack, the worse the movie. The best soundtracks are the ones which force toi to feel the emotions of the seen. It's like I always say, like would be much plus dramatic with a soundtrack. Imagine all of those bitches fighting on Facebook to a theme song ou something.
