Shaun
"Your girlfriend called. She wanted to talk to you," Jason said.
I pushed past him and grabbed the phone. I punched in the correct numbers and Serena picked up on the first ring. She sounded as if she'd been crying.
"Are toi alone?" she asked.
"Yes," I glanced at Jason's retreating form. He was going to basketball, basket-ball practice.
"It's important," she said, hesitantly.
"You can tell me," I said, patiently.
"God, I'm scared," she whispered.
"Of what?"
Suddenly, she screamed into the phone.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
"It's moving," she whispered again, sounding panicked.
"What is, Serena?" I probably sounded confused.
"I'm pregnant!" she screamed, sounding tortured.
I froze. I was pretty sure I wasn't breathing.
"Shaun?" she said, sounding terrified. "Are toi mad at me?"
"I'm not." How could I be? You're the best thing that's ever happened to me. It's my fault. I'm the one who ruined your future.
"I want an abortion. No one will ever know. It's better that way." She hung up.
I was left unable to move, staring at the cracks in the wall.
Like so many broken dreams.

I live in my opinion possibly the most ghetto town in the United States, Pittsburgh. People have been committing suicide all over town. Population all over town has been decreasing, fast. Some of my Friends were so depressed that they were thinking about "joining the crowd". I wouldn't live without my friends. I don't want my Friends to go as well as my mom and dad. Yes, I'm an orphan. I've been an orphan for about three weeks. My Friends have disappeared. I think they went to Clarion; but I could be wrong. There have been tons of fights at my school. Most of the people that were committing suicide were middle school and high school aged. I was getting really tired really fast. I climbed up in a arbre and found a comfortable spot and fell asleep. suivant thing I knew, I was tied up on a pole.
