I screamed and tried to coup de poing the monster that was trying to rip my throat out. The monster's yellew teeth gripped my arm and twisted, making it snap. I screamed and most of my strength ran back to my body. I kicked the loup off and it hit the wall. I rolled onto my belly and army crawled to my friend, Sky. I could see his chest rise and fall slowly, ou stop, which made me gasp everytime. After what felt like forever I eventually made it to him.

"Nicole," Sky whispered. I grabbed his hand with my good one. His face and clothes were coated in blood and his normally bright, blue eyes were dark and cold. His chest stopped moving and I gripped his had harder. He started to breath again. "Don't leave me."

"I'll never leave," I managed to say. The tears made the mud and blood on my face flow down to my lips, making them salty and gross. Then Sky's eyes started to change from blue to amber. They began to glow, making me slide back a little. I slowly got on my knees, ignoring the pain, and watched in horror as he Changed for the first time. His palish skin went dark and hair-no, FUR- started to grow from his skin.

I was grabbed par the shoulders, and rougly yanked back. My elbows hit the cold and wet cement floor. I looked up and saw a man hovering over a dark brown wolf. Where did Sky go? Is he that wolf?

"Yes, he's the wolf," the man turned to me. His hairy chin and baggy eyes kind of scared me. Wait, how does he know what I was thinking? "Because I'm a wolf." The man sounded agitated. "And I'm not explaining this right now."

I crawled over to the man and wolf. My poor friend, now a wolf.

"You should be changing soon too." A lady came up behind me. "But I guess since Henry was a slow starter, you'll be slow too."

"Henry?" I asked.

"Yes, this guy. The loup toi managed to kick." The lady hit the back of "Henry's" head. The woman had long brown hair and tight fitting clothes. I don't like her. What made me hate her plus is she kicked Sky.

"Hey," I yelled. I also growled at her. I stopped, the strange feeling of the growl hanging in my throat.

"What are toi gonna do? Bite me? toi aren't even a loup yet." The lady scoffed.

"Angela, be nice, her friend is a wolf," Henry stood up.

"I am older than you, and the Alpha, toi don't talk to me like that," Angela growled at him, her eyes glowing. Henry backed away. I turned away from them and focused on Sky. He moved a little. I scooted closer.

"I wouldn't do that. Young loups can't control themselves for a week," Henry said. I ignored him though. Sky got up and His height scared me. His amber eyes looked into my blue eyes. I wanted to hug him. But before he started to growl I could see the wild fill his eyes. I backed away and before the loup Sky lunged at me, the gray loup that attaked me got between me and Sky. Sky backed away, growling. Another wolf, a tan one jumped on him, and even though he was about to attak me, I gasped. The tan one clamped onto Sky's muzzle and growled. The gray loup pushed me out of the room that we were in. We stepped outside into the woods covering the house. The loup changed into Henry.

"Come on," his dirty hand grabbed my arm and he pulled me away.
