I was a wolf, a lone loup to be exact. I roamed the cities never staying in one place for too long, afraid to be found out par the humans that I was a wolf. This was my life, empty, alone, I had no pack and no pack had me. That was until I met him. He was different from other loups I had met. He smelled of a different scent, the scent of freedom. He told me of a place called Paradise, it was a place for the wolves, where no human could hurt us. He a dit that every loup would one jour make it to Paradise.

The two-volume manga adaptation includes some of the core events of the animé series with few changes, but as a whole the manga veers greatly from its animé inspiration. Many events from the animé do not occur in the manga, and some of the events from the animé that are presented in the manga are completely different in terms of dialogue, chronological sequence, and final outcomes. In particular, the seconde volume tells an almost completely different story, with Darcia recruiting Blue to help him open the door to Paradise with her blood.
