Barbie: The Pearl Princess is the 27th CGI-animated Barbie movie. It will be released direct-to-DVD in February 17, 2014, and will be in Vue Cinemas in March 2014. The film was animated at Rainmaker Entertainment Inc. and written par Steve Granat and Cydne Clark. Plot "Join Barbie in a brand new underwater adventure! Barbie stars as Lumina, a mermaid girl who doesn't know that she's really royalty. Lumina and her friend Kuda, a rose sea horse, travel to a fantastic underwater kingdom where Lumina finds herself using her amazing colour change powers over pearls to decorate and customize fabulous hairstyles for all her Friends and clients in the Mermaid Salon."
