A personal countdown of the most difficult games that I have ever played. This part will mention the first five games. Without any further ado, let's begin!

10. XIII - Playstation 2/Xbox/Gamecube/PC

XIII. Fun, hard, and sometimes frustrating. toi start the game on Brighton Beach, suffering from memory loss and woken up par a nice Coast Guard lady. I won't tell toi the whole story, but I'll sum it up for you. toi will be chased down par spies, police officers, soldiers, guerrillas, etc. The boss battles in this game are quite difficult, even on Arcade/easy mode. There's been a strange amount of hype/flame-warring about inFamous and Prototype so I decided I'd have a go at doing a sort of....comparative review(?)

Both games are open-world, third-person view, (gruff voiced) super-hero (or anti-hero) games. Alex Mercer, the protagonist of Prototype uses his own body as his weapon, morphing it into whatever he needs. As well as morphing, he is virtually bullet proof and can.... run up walls? Cole McGrath, the protagonist of inFamous uses lightning and parkour abilities.

Prototype
First of, graphics of Prototype were reported to be better... BUT the whole city...

Over the past 6 to 7 years that I have been playing video games, it has not occured to me until recently that maybe the ESRB has gone a little too far lately. I realize this par comparing ESRB ratings to MPAA (that's the movie rating board for all of you) ratings. I realize that the language permitted in PG-13 ratings is much greater than that in T ratings, such words as @$$hole and even the F word can be heard in PG-13 films while there is absolutely no chance that toi would ever hear such words in a T game.

Gore, violence, and blood is also plus excused in PG-13 movies. Such films as the...

There are some people that play video games so much that they aren't used to real life. toi may not think you're one of them, but it's likely toi are indeed if:

You look at a bottle of water ou a pond and think, "Such nice water effects."

You convince your friend to toss a stick of dynamite between your feet thinking you'll benefit with electric powers in the aftermath.

When learning about the Spartans and Thermopylae, toi can't help but think of the big dudes in the green suits.

You ask your local hospital to take an autopsy of you, saying that toi want to be able to impale people with your bare...

Back in 2002, Sucker coup de poing defined to me what a real video game is with a certain game titled 'Sly Cooper and the Thievius Raccoonus'. But what really did it for me was it's even better sequel, 'Sly 2: Band of Thieves'. And even before those two games, Sucker coup de poing revolutionized physics with their debut title, 'Rocket: Robot on Wheels'. It was like the Half-Life 2 of the Nintendo 64.

Then they created 'Sly 3', which I quickly finished. I was eager for plus action, but discovered that Sucker Punch's suivant game would be a superhero game titled 'inFamous'. Little did I expect that inFamous would...

Online gaming has become a staple for many gamers these days, as it can be much plus fun to play against other, real people than computers, right? In many instances, WRONG. Here's why, Mr. Online Junkie.
----------------------------------------

Starting the Match. In multi-player against a computer, toi can instantly hit a "Play" button and be on your way lightning fast into a match. The same isn't the case for many games online. Either the guy hosting the match just won't start the game, ou some other idiot won't stop switching sides in the lobby, meaning there isn't consistency between the...

Three and a half grueling years ago, Sucker coup de poing revealed their latest new IP, inFamous. Despite only seeing a couple pictures, a trailer, and some E3 gameplay, I was immediately sold as soon as the name Sucker coup de poing was teamed up with the game and bought a PS3 just to play the game. And did it pay off? Perhaps not quite in the way I had expected, but... heck, yes, it did. After already completing one playthrough as a Hero through this beautiful game in just under a day, I can say that inFamous, while not quite as potentially boundless as I had hyped it up to be, still greatly broadens the...

OK, I should start par saying Ive been a huge fan of all précédant incarnations of the Fight Night games. They were hands down the best boxing games ever, and were an absolute blast to play, even if toi weren't a fan of boxing.

Part of what made them so great were the controls, all the punching was done with rotations of the joysticks, and once learned properly, was like seconde nature. It was easy to think of a combo in your head, and then have your fighter execute it with ease.

Now it seems EA felt like doing to this franchise, what they keep doing to the NHL franchise, which is devise a new...

Fracture is a technical achievement, but is still a Gears of War rip-off in the long run.
Fracture really isn't one of those games toi need to finish to review. Sure, toi might miss out on a vehicle section ou two, but toi still get the basic idea. After all, the game has an interesting, realistic, but dull story that never interests you. It has the most downright bizarre control scheme you've seen in years, and it has some glitches. (Although it is a technical achievement.)

The game starts out with the west breaking apart (literally) due to global warming. The Pacifican Union uses genetic modification to survive and the Atlantics of the surviving country use technology, mainly terrain...

OK. One sentence to sum it all up: Sly 3 is much weaker than Band of Thieves and Thievius Raccoonus. I mean, it's still a decent game, but its lack of visual style that Band of Thieves had as well as poorer designed control schemes are two of the major dissapoints.

See, Sly 3 goes completely against the visual style of the 2 other (better) games in the series. The game is chock-full of ugly and way-too-bright colors. Sly 1 and 2 were both at complete ease and over control with their visuals par immersing it into a dark environment and that blend worked beautifully. But the nighttime sequences...
