can somebody tell me why do the vampires shine in the sun?in the twilight films

i heard that Stephanie Myers started écriture the twilight livres after a dream she had & ..in her dream the vampires sparked

"Sparkle" would be the correct metaphor.

Because Stephenie Meyer is a shitty auteur who can't write to save her life. And she uses words that, make readers confused. She is using aléatoire works like "beautiful, and sparkle, and such" to make the reader fall even plus in l’amour with the vampires, such as "Edward Cullen."

So cliche.

This is my opinion.

Twilight SUCKS!

Because Stephanie Myers wanted to make a herd of vampires with no weaknesses and ruin the vampire image forever -_-

It's cuz they're not really vampires...they're fairies

They are just big bugs that is all.

In myth, vampires are supposed to burn when sunlight reaches their skin. And also, they can be killed with wooden stake and they fear holy objects like the Holy Cross, garlic fleurs etc. Stephanie Meyer moulded her version of vampires so that they can go about easily instead of just coming out at night and also to make them seem indestructable. Meyer wanted to make her vampires absolutely flawless, so she brought it up that her version of vampires sparkle.

For the same reason other vampires do whatever they do in the sun. That's just how they were created.

There really is no "correct" way for a vampire to react to sunlight. It's no big deal, people just l’amour complaining.

Because its Smeyer's sexual fantaisie and sparkling is apparently 'hot'. And it's based on a dream.
