She wasn't willing to live if Edward wasn't living. And most people would live for their children if they loved them more than their spouse. But she was only pregnant for a few weeks. She didn't have time to bond with her.

Its two different types of love, but a mothers love for her child is the most absolute type, its the only kind that would be more then her love for Edward.

She gives us clues, like when she said Renesmee was even more beautiful then Edward when the baby was born and how Renesmee became like her whole world.....

Yeah I'm with MrsPattinsonXO. She loves them equally. If both of them were in danger, so would die trying to save them both!
I also agree that the love for both of them are different types of love. Soulmates and Mother to Child love.

Seems like it in Breaking Dawn... which REALLY disappointed me, I want to hear more about her and Edward, not Renesmee. Sorry, I'm not really a Renesmee fan, personally to me she ruined the original storyline too much and it just was waaay too different from the first 3 books.

I think everybody loves his child more than his hisband but in this case maybe she loves more Edward
