Chapter 4 - Running Through The Night

I had woken myself up with a loud, piercing scream.
I had heard footsteps that night, running.
"Katrina? Are toi alright?" Carlisle asked. I had tears all ovre my face and hair. Some made their way down my tank-top. Alice sat suivant to me, brushing my hair through her fingers. I sighed a long sigh. My head hurt. I touched my head and felt a sticky wet goo ou something. I looked at the bedstand and screamed.
Blood.
Alice got to the blood on my head and froze, not breathing, a statue. She was like this for a few secondes then she spoke.
"Carlisle, theres....blood."
I looked at the lit stand, a sharp, razor like piece of glass was sticking out of it. I just stared. Carlisle rubbed the back of my head.
"Oh, did toi hit your head on the glass?"
I was puzzled. "I-I dont know! I dont remember anything but a bad dream!" I yelled. Esme hushed me.
"About?" She asked. I tried to remember. I shut my eyes and got back into the dream, but just as a memory.
"I was running. Running through the night, dazed and confused about why. I looked back and the man was behind me. Blood-thirsty with piercing eyes. I tried to run faster and faster but he got up to me. He lunged his teeth into my skull and sucked out the blood.
"Then I was awake, screaming. And here we are now."
Their faces were blank. Looking for an explanation I think.
"Go back to sleep honey, we will patch toi up tomorrow," Esme said. I did as told and fell asleep.
I was probably staining my pillow.
