    I waited for Jerek's return, not wanting to walk into her room and feel awkward and not say anything. And when Jerek did return, Shropee and Tabra trudged down the stairs behind him, just as shocked as I was. We all walked into the room together, and we stopped at the sight of Verona's eyes that were open, looking at us at the doorway.
    "Hi." She whispered.
    "Welcome back." Shropee smiled, and we all laughed nervously except for her.
    "What's wrong?" She asked. "What happened? Where am I?"
    "Well, Zoos beat toi up pretty badly, and so we took toi to the hospital, and then brought toi here to take care of toi securely. toi are in Jerek's basement, the Alliance to be plus exact." Shropee stopped then, turned around and told us to leave.
    "I'm not going." Jerek said, and she gave him a stern look.
    "I'm going to explain the bad news to her, unless toi want to see her break down in tears, then stay, otherwise, leave." She ordered, and we all left, closing the door behind us.
    "Verona," We heard Shropee say, and once the door shut, we walked towards the stairs, not wanting to hear her cry of anger ou despair.
    "She'll be okay." I told Jerek, putting an arm around him.
    "Yea." He said, and ran up the stairs.
    "I'm sorry." Tabra spoke once Jerek was gone. "I'm sorry about what happened, I-"
    "Not now." I told him, and ran up the stairs after Jerek.
