I was just thinking about Twilight-as always, and well I'm a little stuck, and I need your help.

So Vampires, Blood-Suckers, Leeches, whatever toi wanna call 'em, they're amazing, right? But then again they have their faults: they have a thirst that water won't solve, they have to keep moving around so they don't attract attention etc etc.
But then I thought about this one, I was answering a pick about Rosalie (good pick btw teNaxx, there's a hommage coming your way) and I kinda voiced my opinion about her montrer everyone that being a vampire isn't that great. At the time I was thinking about her not being able to have children...and that's when it struck me, there are so many things we don't know about vampires!

Okay so following on, vampires bodies kinda, erm, freeze, that's why they don't age and women can't have bébés etc. But what else can't they do?
Warning randomess approaching, feel free to stop lire to keep your sanity.
Here is a liste of things that are puzzling me:

Vampires-Even plus De-Human?

1. Really random, but do they need to cut their hair. If not then what if, for example, Esme got a new hair cut then later decided she wanted it long again, would it grow back?

2. So they drink blood. Surely it's got to go somewhere. Do they need to use the toilet?? If not, then what happens to the blood they drink?

3. Carrying on with the bathroom theme, do they need to shower. I'm guessing yeah, cos maybe they're not that great to have self-cleaning skin-or maybe they are??

4. What happens to them when they die? Okay so no-one knows, but other theories would be nice.

5. How long can they go without blood? Is there a 'time limit' like water and nourriture for humans?

6. Can vampires only destroy vampires. Like what would happen if toi threw explosives at Edward(not that anyone would want to destoy him) would he survive, cos buildings made of stone don't survive when that happens. ou are they stronger than stone?

Okay so I leave toi with these puzzlers for now. I'd like to hear your views- any interesting theories? do toi think I'm being a little too random? ou have toi had the same questions on your mind?

P.S I have been told I think to deeply about things...sorry this won't happen again, but my head was hurting :D

BrucasChair ^ lol..love the pic XD but the only question i could answer is the bathroom one. I believe somewhere in BD Bella mentions, (afters she's a vamp) that now Edward and her could have extra time to do some "extracurricular" activities b/c neither of them had the need to go to the bathroom anymore.

isabell118 LOL. I've always wondered about #3 and 2...so your not the only one ;) I have know idea what happens to the blood they drink since they can't really digest it...and i think they do shower because it would be kinda gross to have all that icky stuff on them...self-cleaning skin is not what i think they have XP

mandapanda well, i think number 1, i dont think their hair would grow back because, technically they're "dead". but yeah, 2 and 3... i kinda wonder.

Seraphiene Well, I also wondered about these things, and finally, I found some answers: Number 1:Their hair never grows back, because they are (as you said) a kind of "frozen in time". So once they cut it, it's gone forever. F.e.Alice will never have long hair again, because it didn't grow back after they shaved it in the mental asylum before she was changed. (Did you know, that she was changed to protect her from James, who was hunting her? I really was surprised, when I read it.) Number 2: Stephenie Meyer explained it like this (not exactly her words, just quoted): Vampires don't have any blood of their own, their veins are basically empty (or dried), so the blood they drink floods their old blood ways, and makes them strong. They use all the blood, no waste at all. Number 3: Vampires do bathe, but only because of the "outside dirt", like mud and blood, no sweat. I don't know about number 4, hm.... Interesting question, though. :) Number 5: I don't think that they could die of starvation. Carlisle tried it, but he didn't last. I think they would sooner or later hunt and kill whatever crosses their way. Somewhere Stephenie said, that their eyes turn completely black in about two weeks, so this could be a kind of "time limit", but they definitely don't die if they go past it. And, finally, number 6 (from personal correspondance with SM): A big enough bomb would probably be hot enough to burn a vampire, but the vampire would have to agree to hold still and let it hit him. So yes, he would be torn into pieces. I think that's all. :) If you would like to have more information, try the Twilight Lexicon, it's really great!

jacob_is_amazin ok..I've wondered bout a lot of that stuff 2 but I'd like to add something of my own that really bothers me...so u know how Edward is so attracted to Bella'a blood at the beginning and Jasper has a hard time resisting ne blood...n Jasper almost killed Bella cause of a small paper cut...so...what happens when Bella has like her period or ne girl 4 that matter...it bothers me 2 no end and I can't think of a logical explanation...so um..ne 1 no the answer 2 that question???

bundygirl Bit late on comenting i know, but i wanted to add something about that fact.. if they don't have blood in their veins then how do they go about the "extracurricular activities"? wouldn't that require some of his blood in some certain areas? and also making a baby... wouldn't that require some bodily fluids?

Among the various criticisms thrown out against Twilight is the allegation that the series promotes pedophilia. This is generally in reference to the relationship between Jacob and Renesmee, but sometimes it refers to the relationship between Edward and Bella because of their significant age differences. I believe that this is a misunderstanding of what auteur Stephenie Meyer intended to portray here, which is not true pedophilia, and is not immoral in and of itself.

Ok, this is an interview that Rob gave to a Brazilian magazine in November and i translated it for toi guys!!! (sorry if it doesnt make much sense!! )

*How´s your life in LA?
Rob: I always come here for work and i even like being alone here. In general i stay here for three months. This time, since i´m here for longer than that, i miss the London´s streets.

*How was your audition?
Rob: They look for me in Londres and, after that, i sent a tape. The audition happened in the director´s house (Catherine Hardwicke). Me and Kristen made a l’amour scene. When i got there i was nervous and a little intimidated...

"Bella's Lullaby" Suspicion

Well, alot of toi know that there is a downloadable "Bella's Lullaby" in the liens tab ou a person from LiveJournal has it. Well, the question is... Is it the real thing? Well, in the book, Bella's Lullaby is described as a complex piece (with Edward's hands drifting into the ebony and ivory keys). Then the song ends in a meloncholic chord. Well, if toi have heard the downloadable version, it does sound complex and it has a meloncholic chord at the end of it. But notes are still played after it... So, is it the real Lullaby? I'm not sure. It is a beautiful piece and whoever wrote it is amazing! What do toi guys think?

PS. Alot of people on Youtube have vidéos saying Yiruma's, "River Flows In You" is the Lullaby, but that is not true. Bella's Lullaby is composed par Carter Burwell (announced from MTV, StephenieMeyer.com, Summit). But we all wish they had kept Rob's version :)
