According to Twilighters Italia & Lion Lamb:

New Moon will not be shot in Volterra but in Montepulciano
Despite advertisements, anticipations and every kind of proposal from the major and the township, New Moon will be shot in Montepulciano because the locations are "more beautiful for the movie" than Volterra."

And, they were nice enough to post pictures of possible locations in Montepulciano. Although the movie may not be filmed in Volterra, these locations look accurate to the descriptions in the book.

sweet_twilight Well the place looks beautiful! And it's similar to how it is written and close to how I imagined it. But when is it ever exactly like your imagination. I think they might add the fountain! Great job to the person who found it and thanks mandapanda.

Lau-rawr i think it wuld hav been awesome if they did film it in Volterra, but i dnt mind cuz the pics look AMAZING, exactly how i imagined it too look!!!

EmilyWeasley I don't mind at all. I think that it looks very much like I imagined!! That's one of my favourite parts in the book and I can't wait to see it in the movie.

Meganj15 I know this may sound stupid, but Ii didn't even know that Volterra was a real place! I thought it was made up for the book because I'd never heard of it before..... Well you learn something new everyday don't you!

irunwithcullens It's a shame the location doesn't have to be pretty it's a monsterous vampire movie after all

daphne_cullen This is also the way I pictured Volterra except that there's a fountain in the middle of the plaza. Anyway, thanks for posting this, mandapanda! :]

toi Know You're Obsessed When...

I made this liste one jour while I had a slow moment at work. Fell free to add on. I even inserted some of my own commentaires in parenthesis.

1. toi jump everytime toi hear "Edward" ou "Bella"
2. toi can't focus on your work/homework because toi could be lire one of the books... again. (Um, kinda what I'm doing right now)
3. toi have never had an interest in Shakespeare, Jane Austen, ou other books, but now toi somehow find yourself VERY interested. (I already had interest in these bad boys/girl before, but I actually want to read Pride and Prejudice/Wuthering Heights now)
4. toi name your pet/computer/car...

Who is better?

The fantastic auteur of the Twilight series, Stephenie Meyer, makes a tough decision on who toi would choose. ou plus importantly who Bella will choose. Jacob ou Edward? She certainly is in less danger if she is with Jacob. But it is almost evened out. If she stands too close to Jacob when he is mad, he might just kill her, too. But if she is with Edward, who always craves for her blood plus than any other vampire, she might just get killed in that situation too. The auteur wants to make it clear that its a very tough decision. I mean who would toi choose? My Friends and I have already chosen Jacob. But a lot of people say Edward. I still haven't let go of Edward, but I still think that Jacob is a better decison. Who will toi choose? And plus importantly, who will Bella choose?
