While Bella was transforming into a vampire, was she in a coma?

ou was she just heavily sedated (under anesthesia).?

ou does she just somehow manage to close her eyes and not déplacer the entire time?

ou was it not specified anywhere?

No she was not in a coma. She was induced with morphine. It was mentioned in book 3 of BD that it wouldn't do any good to scream and that screaming would just make Edward feel even plus guilty for turning her into a vampire,so she kept still and kept her eyes closed the entire time she was going through the transformation.Hope that réponses your question.

Bella wasn't in a coma. She just manages to keep her eyes closed and her body still so Edward wouldn't see how much pain she was in. This was mentioned in the book, but if it was mentioned in the movie, I wouldn't know. If I have the chance, I'll give toi the page number(s) but that's pretty much it.

Hoped I helped.

No. Bella wasn't in a coma. " I knew that according to Rosalie, it did no good to scream. And I'd hoped that maybe I could be like Carlisle. That I would believe Rosalie's words and keep my mouth shut. Because I knew that every scream that escaped my lips would torment Edward. "

This was on pg. 377 in Breaking Dawn , in Book 3.

They'd injected her with morphine, hoping that would numb the pain of the venom. It didn't work, and she still felt the pain, but the morphine also paralysed her at first and made it impossible for her to scream. When it wore off, she forced herself not to scream because she wanted to hide the pain from Edward, and she could sense that it'd soon be over.

11 months later and this is the only answer that makes any sense to me, lol. Thank you.

You're welcome. I haven't reread it for a while, admittedly, but I can definitely remember the morphine paralysing her. It's described as this huge weight on her body.
